| Yeah! A good anime indeed. But, I hate the anime production. The mood is right, but the background music is not just right. e.g, the last part: the mood is a bit comic, and happy. But the sound is really lone and sad? Why is that? It bugs me! LOL! |

| well.... it WAS his dream.. (or was it????) and he had a lot of bad and unexplainable things happen to him lately (he thought his friend died) and stuff it would be kinda weird if he suddenly have a "pleasure" (~cough~ wet dream~cough~ ) from all this insanity. i was laughing at the part where there were long pauses especially when he was fighting chaos neos and neos paused for like a good 3 sec b4 attacking.. |

| Man this episode was like...pointless. And this anime seems to be going nowhere. No one ever dies in this. OH NO MY FRIEND'S DEAD! Hello, Shiki-san ^^ or. YOU KILLED ME! But you're standing right there. And why is that girl from class just randomly there & he never once tries to question her about what the hell she is doing? Ah! It makes so little sense. |

| Akiha is too calm(and looks too old Dx).Her VA just doesn't suit her.In the other hand Kohaku's and Hisui's voices are great. (japanese dub) Satsuki is alive after all.Arihiko seems to have is own harem here.Good for him. It's already revealed that Shiki played with Hisui (and not Kohaku) when he was a kid.It was a major plot twist in the VN.Oh well, this is following Arc's route and the meidos aren't iimportant characters so it's normal. And I lol'd at the dream scene.They actually animated it (even though they turned it into a nightmare xD) |

| This is probably one of the strangest anime I've watched in my life. Not to mention the gloomy BGM and characters to go with it. It'd definitely be crazy to watch this when you are depressed; things would just get messed in your head. |
| Most of the important scenes were altered in this episode. "I want to drink you blood xD" that's not what happened. And the welcome party was too quit :S |

| Really entranced by the soundtrack and the mood of the anime. Stunning. You feel as if swayed by the pace of the anime as you watch it - it never feels slow, as if time is abstract while watching this episode. No action in this episode, the slowness used in this episode depicts the settings and characters (although still rather bland) in their full view, stark and vivid. |

| I'm starting to see why fans of the series have removed this from their memory entirely. So far, the way this show has been directed has been putting me to sleep. It feels like a fucking slideshow with the slightest of animation, and the lighting looks bleak and boring. As someone coming from the VN, I try to refrain from comparing this to the source material, but this anime looked sapped of the atmosphere that made the novel so engaging. The BGM is okay, though. It seems as though they are dead set on primarily adapting the Near Side routes (specifically Arc, judging from the dream), but I'd be hard-pressed to say I didn't like seeing them provide details on Shiki's relationship with the Tohno residents (though questions would linger for those not familiar with the story already). I would say this is a nice change of pace from the "action", particularly the [butchered] duel with Chaos, but it's a shame that those moments were so poorly directed that it felt as slow as what we are seeing right now. No small moment of respite; I was dozing off the whole time. The dream scene got changed too, for obvious reasons. Too bad the original scene actually meant something, as that dream is supposed to set the precedent for Shiki's romantic interest in Arc. Here, it seems as though they are playing on the whole "She can drink my blood at any chance" motif, although such motifs contradict Arc's entire character. I AM BORED TO TEARS. |

| Yumizuka is alive! Kohaku is the most attractive of the two maids. She's waifu material with her personality and all. I'd love to have a taste of her cooking! Oh yeah, Akiha is undoubtedly very beautiful. Who needs TV or other entertainment at home when you can just talk with your hot sister? If I were Shiki, I'd ask Arcueid to bite me already! |
