I recently remembered an anime I watched and I searched all over my list and all the anime websites I visit to no avail.

It is a futuristic anime with 2 protagonists. A girl who's mother is a purple haired robot (Very kind and has an american name I think) and a guy who joins an underground militia group to fight the government. I know it's vague as hell but I seriously can't remember anything else.

It's not an obvious or well known anime. It's not ghost in the shell or evangelion and the girl's mother is the one with purple hair and she's a humanoid robot. It's killing me that I can't give names or anything! It's also not an old anime but it's not from the past 2 seasons.

This anime is Highschool,Comedy,boys(I haven't seen any memes of girls in it so far) not Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou or Kimi to Boku.
Sorry i couldn't find the meme(that would make things much easier) The meme was that one of the boys decided to act all buff and manly, then all the other boy decided to do that too so you just see multiple buff/manly guys in the back of the classroom all serious like.

There are two protagonists. The female MC's mother is a purple haired robot named Violin, and the MC's love interest is involved in an underground resistance movement.

Episode 1 They were assigned to make wooden boxes or something, and some cheated by paying a boy who worked with woodcraft, to make them the boxes. Some found out and wanted to get in on it too, I believe.

Episode 2 Something happened and someone ended up on the roof, threatening to jump off. Might have had something to do with some novel or something. I remember the papers of it being spread out in the wind from the roof. Someone on the ground reacted quite strong to it, I assume it was the author. The firemen place out one of those inflatable bags. At the end, after a bunch of talking, the ones on the roof jump off onto the bag.

Not a lot to go by, but I'm sure it should be enough if anyone's seen it.

I think this anime might have been produced under the 90s or at least very early 2000's (2003 max)

Before this this girl was at a fast food place getting a kids meal even though she wasnt a little kid and the guy was picking on her for that.
