| Nice :D after 5 episodes we finally start to get somewhere... so it was like 1/3 of last episode and 1/2 of this one gooooood.... since it seems (?) that arc will end next week, we will have more events and less of meaningless talk |
| Would really like Araragi to find Kaiki and kick his ass. But I suppose that's not necessarily the solution. For now I'm glad that he remained relatively calm and is focused on helping his sister. I wonder if Shinobu curses her fate sometimes, being tethered to this near suicidal kid. I don't imagine him taking in that poison is going to go well for him. Especially if even Shinobu says it's less than "prefered". I wonder what he means too, when he tells his sisters to stay away from Hanekawa? I suppose something about her still worries him.  |

| A bit more backstory and now we see how Kaiki operates. Looking forward to seeing Araragi dealing with him. No Senhougahara again though! Dissapointing. |

| Karen fan service. But anyway, they really changed Hanikawa's looks. 100x cuter than the 1st season. Well, It's not like she can beat Hitagi. Back to the episode - I think Koyomi can't kiss Karen. Or more like Karen will not let him. |

| In my opinion, this episode was rather boring compared to the others. Episode 3 is still by far the best. |

| Lol Karen got owned. She kinda deserves it for just standing there and talking. | Oshino, Guilotine Cutter, and Kaiki. I'm really getting interested in the mystery surrounding them and their connection to the gods, spirits, and curses that Araragi keeps running into. Knowing Nisio I can't imagine he's surrounded by all these extraordinary happenings just to drive the plot. Araragi has had somewhat minimal involvement in solving his friend's afflictions up to this point, so I have to wonder if he's being trained as a real successor or replacement for Oshino, or not. The relationship between Oshino and Shinobu and it's impact on Araragi has my gears spinning as well. I can't help but think there's more to that. Not too worried about the lack of Senjougahara this week since being that Kaiki's involved she's got to have a major part to play. I'm still trying to figure out who that 'pig' was she mentioned back in the first season, and I don't think it has anything to do with Kaiki since he was the first swindler. Hope that subplot gets wrapped up sometime down the line. |

| 1. Araragi is a badass. 2. Karen's hot. 3. Toothbrush scene better be animated. 4. Kaiki is an amazing villain type. The moral of this episode is : Money isn't everything. It's just mostly everything. |

| I'm going to bump the rating to 10. This series just keeps impressing me over and over again. I wonder what Kaiki's actual thoughts are. I doubt he's going to be just a shallow antithesis to Araragis, he must have some hidden motivations. Since it was implied the bee would challenge Karen's perception that people who do seemingly selfless things have purer motives than people who act for their own gain. In Kaiki's philosophy they are actually hard to separate so maybe he has deviated from the same path after experiencing something. I somehow get the feeling he's actually trying to help her in the long run. Thought the bee's extremely lethal nature more than kind of contradicts that so I must be just seeing things that aren't there. Anyway, his motives must be closely related to what Karen and Koyomi do and a jab at the flaws of their way of doing things. And what would "regret over not regretting something" actually be? Effectively the only thing I can think of is she did something wrong but didn't understand it, therefore she wasnt able to regret. Because she felt no regret she felt no reason to apologize properly which ruined a relationship of hers and is something to regret, maybe. |

| Interesting development with the Kaiki scene. Though I feel like the series should be more compact and squash into 8 episodes total instead of 12. The pacing is kind of slower than your average series. |

| The plot is very diluted, because shaft was given 11 episodes for one arc I assume, while in previous installment - Bakemonogatari, arcs had 2-5 episodes at most, and Tsubasa Cat wasnt even originally aired at that time. Its just an another type of pacing for the series, and if you watched it all at once it wouldnt drag that much as it does when anticipating it every week. For me, I enjoy the good scenography, fast paced exchange between characters, and minor to moderate nudity teasing, which still stays in good taste, unlike disgusting garbage like High School DxD. New take on visuals adds to the series, which still, was taken a notch up from the prequel. The plot, as I've said, seeps in slowly but surely will turn out for better. I just need more Senjougahara in atlast. |

| I didn't like this episode quite as much as last week's, but it still didn't let me down. I loved the scene with Kaiki~ I wonder what Koyomi is up to... if I remember correctly, vampires are weak to poisons. Can't wait for next week, once again! ;) Hashida said: Ahh see.
