| This is in my opinion the best episode in the series. Weaving three love stories (the father, Mochizo, Anko) so seamlessly and still give good spotlight (and cute moments) to other characters (particularly Midori and Kanna as well as Choi and Dera). Tears, laughs, warmth, and passion are all there with abundance. We even know now why Tamako took a flower from the florist everyday. Also great to see Mochizo at least got some happy surprise from Tamako ! |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| hehe tsundere papa. a bit cliche and all but the love story between the parents was really touching :') and look,Tamako inherited the neck mole from her mom. How Mochizou covered his mouth so the girls can't perceive how he started crying. ;w; so cute and honest! ♥ happy 17 birthday ! |

I guess she simply died during Anko's birth (from her reaction she doesn't remember her at all) Edit: In the beginning of ep4 her mother seems to be still alive and Anko was like 4 years old then. So, she died some 5 years ago. Anyway, it seems that Tamako is not so clueless as I initially thought and she proved it twice this ep, finally! And those last four minutes are really divine :) Also, time moved very fast to autumn - I guess girls are now in second year of their school when Midori instructing freshmen in her baton club. And I really like those little details KyoAni do - like that little under-nose finger gesto both Tamako and her father does :) BTW - what's really written on that cake?  |

| Why is Anko so cute ;_; Highlights were Dera getting an origami crane in his face and Tamako's dad getting a heart attack when Tamako surprised the heck out of him :D Mochizou receiving a cake at the end was adorable :) |

| That ending was really wonderful especially now that she found the song, she was looking for, she also remembered his bday and well it just was a great episode! Choi's dance and puffed up cheeks were great :p Lil anko was really great as well, at least she managed to go to him! |

| These last few episodes have been really good. So Tamako isn't all that dense after all. She gave Anko a good excuse to go and say goodbye to Yuzuki, and even remembered Mochizu's birthday. But the best part was the dad's plot and the whole story behind the song, really sweet and touching. |
