 HERO, the creator of Horimiya, began a new manga series titled Koe no Furu Heya (Room Where Voices Fall) featuring illustrations by Tsutsuji Takahashi in the 35th issue of Big Comic Spirits on Monday. HERO serialized the original Hori-san to Miyamura-kun web manga on her official website Dokkai Ahen between February 2007 and December 2011. Daisuke Hagiwara drew Horimiya based on the original web manga in GFantasy from October 2011 to March 2021. Square Enix published the 17th and final volume in June 2023. Yen Press published the manga in English from October 2015 to October 2024. A 13-episode television anime adaptation by CloverWorks aired in Winter 2021. The Horimiya: Piece (Horimiya: The Missing Pieces) side story anime aired in 13 episodes in Summer 2023. Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles and dubs, respectively. Synopsis A soothing voice says "You've got this." In his one-bedroom apartment, that voice becomes a small source of comfort to face the next day. Itaru Kagurazaka, a corporate illustrator working long hours, lives alone in a soundproof apartment. One day, he suddenly gets a friend request from his former high school classmate, Fumiya Ouji, who claims that he's being stalked. Feeling he has no choice, Itaru lets him stay over. But from that moment on, Itaru finds a new kind of "stimulus" he never anticipated. | @Rom-Com_lover For the same reason thousand of manga, light novels, doujinshi etc. submissions waiting for years to be added in the database. I have submitted a light novel since December 2023 and still waiting to be added on mal |

@Yubisoft Anilist is doing better job in this matter. Their manga/doujinshi collection is soo much bigger then MAL.
| @GoodBoy0069 Yes, I am aware. However as far as I am know 18+ manga, doujinshi and anime etc that I also have on my lists, exist only on mal which why I haven't bothered moving from here. |

I think there is a good source for manga in another website but I don't remember the name. Novel Updates is a good source for LNs and WNs, not perfect, but better than MAL. I personally use lightnovel.jp for LN news. Our friend @aurora_yuuki frequently mentions that foreign heroine romance LNs are not in MAL databases~ After more than a year, British Stepsister has not been added to MAL database. XD  |

Both are not really crazy, considering the surge in yandere romance LNs nowadays~ Romance genre in LN is really strong nowadays, but most of the good romance LNs are published by smaller publishers~ Wondering when will this seductive Russian heroine romance LN be added to MAL database~  Oh, the trope of ‘most beautiful girl thirsty for dense dull guy’ is dead in romance genre nowadays. :) |
