I like the whole strong friendship and tight bonds that the guys make; we don't get it a lot of it in other shows. I, too, am surprised how how much people complained about the chains and are super glad they're off. A huge hint that a show isn't entertaining the watchers enough (though a plus for the anime is that it showed how they came off, exactly. I didn't get it in the manga). Anyways, the next episode would probably be the best for me. I'm too scared to see how they handle Hakuren. |

| It's about time those chains FINALLY came off. The ending was getting intense. I'm glad the storyline is finally coming along. Hopefully it keeps on moving. |

No, he never said it in the manga and it only has minor hints at shounen-ai (its more like shounen-ai fanservice: nothing too severe but if you read between the lines and if you think "that" way, its definitely there--and of course they still stick to the plot. But I still fangirled when he said "I love you, Teito" SQUEE xD I know its not that kind of love, but hey, a girl can dream, can't she? lol In other news, Teito's tramp stamp is super special awesome. |

| So the chains inexplicably get whisked away by a dog collar. Absolutely no relevance to them staying on as long as they did, cool. At least things have heated up and I think I can finally take this off hold. |

| This episode was supposed to be full of twists and turns yet I wasn't too thrilled as a lot was going on at the back of my mind. First, why Teito was still in shackles for 8 episodes straight? Was Mikage under hypnosis or is it that Ayanami possessed him? Episode 8 had a lot of them answered - the action wasn't that impressive but the twists and turns made up for it. |
