The depiction of the countryside is key to the appeal of this manga and I think the PV has done it well.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

I'm going to pass on this shit honestly, I'm a 17 year old male I have no business watching little elementary girls fuck around.

I'm tired of anime like these, Silver Link could be producing much better anime than this.

Personally, I'm more interested in the rest of the art than that of the character designs (though that is kind of a given), but I have been known to love slice of Life.

And I'm a 21 year old veteran (though I hate applying that title to myself) now in college, and I will be watching these "little elementary girls fuck around" (as you so succinctly described the show).

Also, though I'm aware that this concept is excruciatingly difficult to understand or even begin to comprehend, but something not being to your tastes does not...

...let's take a quick break, I know this is a lot to take in at once. Okay, once more:

Something not being to your tastes does not mean it's not good or inherently bad. And as a fan of the kinds of shows they've produced recently, I can tell you that Silver Link is doing an amazing job with the things they've done recently. It may not be to your tastes (and that's unfortunate), but that doesn't mean they could be doing "better."

I really don't even see the point of people commenting in this thread with things like that. Especially when you try and make people who are going to watch it sound like pedophiles or weirdos for doing so.
---------------------------------------------
Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to this. I can't exactly pinpoint what it is, but something about the art is really alluring to me.

Rather then trying to patronize me, also by giving your crucial input on the series, I would like for you to remember that this is a forum; which is made for opinions. Now I actually like the studio Silver Link for anime such as Baka to Test, Sket Dance and many others that they were involved with. Just disappoints me that they are resorting to redundant moe anime, a concept that for some reasons appeal to people like you, adult males.

Now do you honestly want to tell me that a male in their 20s watching elementary school girls' daily life for enjoyment isn't bit of an enigma? Believe it or not, I'm not trying to be offensive I'm just being honest.

Actually, most of the people who may or will be buying this are over 25 and watching it will probably be the same at least in Japan. Anime featuring students sell and are well liked, Fact. Also, a middle school anime is what I need, I like anime with characters that are in grades other than High School.

Have we just had these kind of anime cut girls doing cut things. I am not Against it but it seems to mush. One season for example you can have 5 to 8 anime like this.

I think you're overestimating the amount of series that we get.

We only had 36 of them in the last 8 years.

Aside from my supposed patronizing, I would also like to build upon your statement that this is indeed a forum: a place for discussion.

I see that you are relatively new to MAL, but if you have yet to notice, the moe hate from non-moe fans here is at a point where it's so common and annoying that us fans of it just can't talk about it or have a piece of news show up without having someone come in and telling us how weird we are for liking what we like.

As you are clearly a non-fan of the (pseudo) genre, calling all moe shows 'redundant' is a statement that, as a fan of them, sounds as silly to me as a non-shounen fan calling every shounen (including FMA, HxH, AoT, Bleach, etc.) a rehash of Naruto or the same thing every time. Each show has its own individual traits that establish it as that show and I've never once felt that any of the moe shows I've watched were remotely similar in any way.

And likewise, I also found their other anime (including the two you specifically mentioned) to be very good, but I find them to be just as worthy a time investment for Silver Link as any of the shows they're doing now or will be doing down the road.

Now do you honestly want to tell me that a male in their 20s watching elementary school girls' daily life for enjoyment isn't bit of an enigma?
As Hoppy stated above, this isn't much of an enigma at all. These things are meant to be sold to adults, so they wouldn't invest the money into it if they didn't expect lots of people to catch on and enjoy it.
Believe it or not, I'm not trying to be offensive I'm just being honest.
And true though this may be, the way you say things sounds extremely condescending, almost as if you're implying that, by liking these shows, we are somehow experiencing a fetish-like joy. Look at how you reworded the previous sentence: '...a male in their 20s watching elementary school girls' daily life for enjoyment...'

I find it hard to believe that that wasn't a subtle way of trying to say that I find some kind of joy or satisfaction in watching real little girls do things, which is of course something that no one take much joy in being accused of.

So what should a 17 year old male do? Fuck around? Shit around?? LOL Besides you must not even paid any attention to details when you had your knee-jerk reaction - most of the girls there are not elementary girls LOL Mature people watching this is all fine. It is just your heavy bias and bigotry that determines what you should be doing "as a 17 year old male" LOL

Would you really go as far as comparing a false genre such as moe to a demographic like shounen, I hope you know it is not a genre. You seem to be implying that I'm hating on you but you got it all wrong, also you seem like you're one to take offense easily. I'm not trying to condescend anyone here, I'm simply posting my response to this latest news.

Yes, but considering the reaction of a lot of people on here wondering why it's seinen, as I stated before it's odd that 20 year old mature dudes would take their time into watching immature little girls' daily lives. Also I know a lot of that goes on in the East, but it's just weird to me. Oh well though.

It all depends on what kind of magazine it is serialized on. And the manga magazine that Non Non Byori is serialized on, Monthly Comic Alive, is categorized as a seinen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monthly_Comic_Alive Note that seinen magazine does NOT always mean ecchi or fan service or violence or grimdark. It can be just an ordinary innocuous manga which somehow gets serialized in a seinen magazine.

I think the new year weeks could be a factor. A lot of programs switch to special schedule during the week preceding or right after new year in Japan.

Darn it, I'd really gotten my hopes up too.

Oh well, as long as good SoL anime like these are still being made, I suppose I can't complain.
