| I tried this out of boredom and was pleasantly surprised, didn't expect a full-on comedy like this. Some parts were really funny (the last part was the best though) and the characters are likeable so far. 8/10. Good start, let's hope this series won't drop the ball. |

Depending on what you enjoy the most. this is more comedy, ktb is more slice of life. personally i love this a lot, but ktb leaves me more with a relaxing warm feeling than this. so to me ktb is more enjoyable. and god, why everyone compares this to ktb... this thread is for this anime, not to discuss if ktb is good or not or better/worse then this one. get over it, please... |

The show is talking the daily lives of boys to a absurd comedic extremes, which is where Tomokazu Sugita and Kenichi Suzumura shine at as Gintama vets. Kimi to Boku is far more SOL and the comedy is more spread out. Saying Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is more enjoyable than Kimi to Boku is just like saying oranges are more fun to eat than apples. |

| Hahaha, this is awesome. Suzuken and Sugita are just beyond amazing. I knew I had to pick up this show after hearing that Sugita was doing a comic role in it and I'm glad I was proved right. It's giving me a few Gintama vibes. And YES for characters actually acting more like real people do. Guys don't act like guys in Kimi to Boku and girls don't act like girls in K-ON, so I'm hoping for some good female characters in this in the future. Maybe make Literature Girl more recurring, haha. | best part about this series is that I can totally see me and my friends just spontaneously pulling off similar skits. It just feels so natural unlike other absurd comedy series. |
