The "two-season composition?" Is this a gramatical error or will there actually be 2 season compose of a 12 episode and a couple of OVAs or what was mend is a "2nd Season" for the said anime? Judge.

I'd give it a benefit of a doubt and watch it.

If you hate it don't comment here :/

I dun really want to hear for those who doesn't understand a thing >.>
Boobies? get real yeah they're boobs is unreal but not every episode that the focus is boobies :/

But for me and "some" of the people will love this one

Dropping the anime cause you don't understand a thing
then I hope many of the fans of GC will drop that anime now too..cause frankly speaking
it has no direction unlike kyoukai

Well either way it's a GOOD NEWS for me not yours :)
Take that fans of other anime who got 1 season only :3

Again with the MAL/ANN ratings mean everything lol. Where is the pre-order ranking pictures that I saw days ago? People really to see the number this show is racking in Japan.

Anyway, congratz to the good (somewhat) news.

According to the Animedia staff, the information about broadcast plans beyond episode 13 is in error and has not been confirmed by the anime's production committee.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-12-09/animedia/horizon-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-tv-info-was-in-error

I guess really need to wait for the last episode of season 1
So we can see if they will "OFFICIALLY" announce that s2 :/

It was already announced before the season started it was split cour, so I dunno what they're talking about now.

Its not a picture, but its the Pre-order rankings this season using Amazon. Horizon is currently #1 of the unreleased stuff this season, narrowly beating out Fate/Zero.

I can almost live with every other girl have beach balls stuff in their shirts......but its lack of choosing 1 direction so far in makes me question if a 2nd season is even possible....or needed had they not wasted so much time with this season....

Really wanted to like this show too....Havent seen this weeks episode yet..but Hopefully with last weeks, they may have FINALLY decided on what they plan to do.....

They haven't even finished the Prologue chapter in the novels. It would likely take 300-400 episodes to fully complete what was been put into novel form so far, since each novel is about 1000 pages.

So yeah, theres enough for a 2nd season.

The stack on the right is the Horizon series so far. We'll be done about 1/5th of the first book, assuming the first season is the prologue chapter.

Guys if you dropped Horizon due to bad writing and slow beginning, let me just say it does get alot better as soon as actual plot kicks in. Pace gets up to speed and these past few episodes have completely turned the show around. It already had an interesting setting and some unique characters. I felt it was the storytelling that was lacking. If they can keep the same momentum/pace through the end of season 1 and into season 2, I see nothing stopping Horizon from being a pretty good show.

Just my 2 cents.

This series once again shows the difference in taste between the Western and Asian markets. Stop assuming that Mal and that fkin Carlos knows what they are talking about.

Its been known for some time but its good to see an actual confirmation on it. This show is great so its good that i wont have to wait long for the second season.

this.
Funny how both my top 2 from this season uses the same method and will air at the same time again next yer.

Not to mention if you go back to ep1~3 (arguably the worse episodes in this series), everything actually flows and makes a lot of sense with tonnes of foreshadowing to the events in ep4&5.

People sees the slow pace and immediately assumed that this show has no direction.

^Actually, the pacing was my tiniest problem...

The whole show sucks big time and the first two episodes were more than enough for me to know this shit will never get better (and will never amaze me). Just check the characters (and their designs). BLEHH!

Lol, this once again proves me right on the money, I'll just quote my previous statement again:

Zavie said:

I think the reason lots of people thumbed down this show is that they think great plot + mainstream design doesn't work together. People looking for plot don't expect Horizon to have it from that kind of design. And people who like the design get thrown off by the setting bombardment. That's really a shame though...

How amusing~

Just my opinion, but people who say this is is garbage, and can still watch the various repetitive shows that air every season should really rethink what they're saying. At least this show has more plot than most shows today. If the plot is so bad, why is it popular as a LN then?

I enjoy this show, and even if the pacing at the beginning is shoddy, and the plot requires lots of reading for the backstory, but past that, I find it's probably one of the only things i'm looking forward to every week.

You also really can't blame them for that though, since they're essentially trying to fit a dictionary into 13-26 episodes. If I recall correctly, they're still at the prologue.

Also, for anyone who just takes this as a LOL BOOBS show, just go watch Maken-Ki!, and tell me THAT is less fanservice than Horizon. It's just a slow show. Take it easy.

WOW GUYS, ANN AND MAL RATED IT AS SHIT, SO IT MUST BE SHIT! RIGHT? RIGHT??

Yeah go away. It's okay not to like things, but some of you just take the cake without even giving proper thought or proper arguments about it.

I just don't get it.

What if it is the worst show? What if it is getting another season?
People who like the show they want to see more that's why they support the show. And how come some people have a problem with that? Is someone forcing them to watch it somehow? Or are they trying to show how cool they are because he is one of those thousand people who thumbed down this show?

We can't say this second season is "milking" already.
Besides, the confirmation of a second season has been announced before the first episode of the first season even aired.

I believe the ridiculousness of Western fandom has almost reached the point where, if a manga/light novel/game gets an anime adaptation it's already "milking the franchise to death."

No, its just when you decide to make a 26 episode series into 2 seasons instead of 1 season its milking. The only reason to do that is so you can charge more per episode, and with Horizon having a pretty big fanbase, they seem likely to pay it.

Theres little reason to be split cour outside of milking the fanbase, see?

This is the same series with a feudal era ( time and civilization was resetted ) , a high school setting, a futuristic setting and a parallel universe created for extra space and a larger population ? . Oh , I forgot about the apocalypse theme. What a convoluted mess.

Because it was intended as two cour from the start. And because decisions about sequels or series length when ample source material remains are pure business decisions, not in any way beholden to the opinion of some faceless foreigner on the internet (i.e. you).

That's why.
