I think this arc is 2 months(?) prior to when she transfers in, so no Ougi for now, I guess. Maybe we'll see her in the epilogue for the arc, as we know that Araragi is currently regaling her with this story, similar to what he did in Onimonogatari. |

| not gonna lie i got pretty confused about a lot of things during gaen's infodump. Maybe it was just the translation I had but it seemed really unclear and convoluted. Can anyone explain briefly her explanation? I really don't wanna have to watch all that again lol |

| Great theory coming from Gaen. so basically, everything started when Shinobu and Araragi came to the shrine and they made a portal to the past. Araragi and kanbaru commentary show was hillarious XD Dat cliffhanger though, i suprised that he already had a body. ^ stronger than saitama |

| I'm a bit conflicted. On one hand I enjoyed the info dump from Gaen, especially after the cliffhanger this week. Last week was more of a recap of past oddities, and this episode was more about putting the pieces completely together; how/why all of the oddities gathered, how Shinobu was involved, how the first revived and why, etc. On the other hand, between the past two episodes, we've had roughly 30-40 minutes of straight Gaen monologue. I was ok with it last week, and I enjoyed the new information this week, but it really was exhausting listening to almost nothing but Gaen. darkbreaker said: lol @ kaiki and episode in the BL cover  also gaen izuko on the adult magazines Wondering how the meeting between Araragi and The First will work out. | And I had no idea Kaiki was into that sort of...stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with it. Amateur mistake on Araragi's part when paying for the books. Should have had the BL books right on top. Would have still had the odd "look" from the cashier, but at least they likely won't laugh at the poor attempt to try and hide it, instead assuming it may or may not be being purchased for someone else. Of all places to run into that guy. And revived already? I'm with Gaen on this one, this freak of nature needs to die. |

| Awesome ep. Does that mean that the armor dude have taken over the last character we saw in this ep.? Also, has he been revived as a human? I am bit confused about that, but I am sure the long hair woman (even though hsi voice were more male-like) is the armor dude since he said "Have you brought the message to Kiss-Shot?". Well, this is going to be interesting. I am wondering how they are going to defeat him, Anyways, pretty nice to have some humor in the 2.nd part of the ep. The scene with Araragi-senpai buying books were funny. Pretty good ep. and a lot of interesting talking. |

| If you take a step back, Ougi is sitting there listening to Araragi's recollection of events months prior, including all of the explanations by Gaen. And because Gaen knows everything, Gaen probably knows Ougi is listening in. |

All the apparitions became attracted to the temple, since there was nothing to replenish them (Like a god, as Gaen said) With that information in mind, i still recommend you to watch the episode again though. |

| 1st part didn't made sense to me but it was cute seeing Shinobu biting the arm of Kanbaru. LOL at the last part, Yato buying BL novels as a request from Kanbaru. and since Yato branded as a lolicon was forced to buy also MILF items and lol at the "employees laughing"! 5/5. |

No, I said they chose to call Kagenui to help as a last resort, meaning that they said that was their option if things go bad, but I didn't say that it was a fact that they were definitely going to do that. Just that they chose that as their option. I also knew that guy was Shinobu's first familiar, because I was, in fact, paying attention to the story and dialogue. It was pretty obvious to figure out anyway, considering that he had already been talked about previously in the episode, as well as in Second Season. I just called him a new character because that was his first appearance in person, and because he wasn't explicitly identified as being her first familiar until the following episode (and I was recapping based on what information has been explicitly given in the episode I was recapping). |
