Episode 1 [spoiler] Feels like the show never had a break. Already in the middle of the next plan, this time it seems to revolve around economy. My bet is that he wants shittons of money so he can start up a valid bank system for adventurers and use it to control the south. |

Episode 1 Glad it is back! I was hoping they would use Man with a Mission for the OP again, but was kind of hoping for a different song from them. Its all good though, I still love the original OP. So, right off the bat we are diving into the Log Horizon we all know. The strategy is underway and that cliffhanger was quite interesting. I'm intrigued to see how Shiroe was defeated. Also, was that Tifa-like chick in the first season? I don't remember her. This girl... |

Episode 2 [spoiler] Another pretty good episode. The plot moves along slowly but we got to see some old characters again, which was nice. The comedy bits with Demi-Demi were pretty hilarious and even the idol girl harassing Naotsugu was more funny than annoying (if only because of the reactions of Shiroe & co ^^). Demi-Demi going tsundere at the end of the episode was a bit scary but I'm sure he'll eventually end up as a good guy since he is now married to some NPC he abducted xD. |

Episode 3 [spoiler] I love Shiroe explaining what a raid is in meticulous details as much as the next guy, but spending roughly 10 minutes on it was a bit much xD. Rest of the episode was decent though and the last scene is promising some more conflict soon. Looking forward to that as well as the continuation of the raid. |

Episode 3 I loved the raid scenes and the explanation. It did last a while, but I thought they provided some quality combat scenes during the explanation to keep everything entertaining. The breakdown of the grind required to defeat a full raid got me in the mood to play some RPGs. I've always been a grinder :P. Anyway, looking forward to seeing the rest of the raid. |

Episode 4 Really don't like Akatsuki's drama and lack of confidence this episode. I never looked at her like that before and it seemed almost out of character to me. I didn't really like this episode much until the end. Maybe all christmas-y stuff going on had something to do with it :P. Toward the end though, I did like when Akatsuki was talking about wanting to see Shiroe and always be by Shiroe's side, as I am Shiroe x Akatsuki all the way, but then she went right back into the "I'm useless" talk again. Meh. The very end was interesting. So, we have us a PKer. I'm interested to see how he is PKing in safe zones and that death seemed real. Like, not going to spawn again, real. Maybe not, but I guess we shall see. Next episode is another Christmas themed one it seems, meh. |

Did I not comment on episode 4? Anyway Episode 5 [spoiler] It seems like the Akatsuki drama isn't over yet, but the fight this episode was pretty nice and there's a lot of exciting stuff going on at the moment so I can't wait to see where this goes. |

Episode 5 The Akatsuki drama wasn't quite as bad this episode as it was the previous one, so that was better. The fight with the serial killer/royal guard guy was pretty sweet. I'm interested to see how they are going to defeat him and why he (they?) have turned on the Adventurers. Akatsuki was back to the role that suits her by the end of the episode...badass assassin!! |

Episode 6 I liked the Akatsuki x Shiroe moment there, but was a bit confused by it. If Shiroe also died, wouldn't he respawn in the same place? I thought everyone respawned there, but maybe I'm forgetting something. I suppose Akatsuki could've imagined the entire thing. I found the professor's lecture to be very intriguing. So, the world is growing and changing. Also, his comments on flavor text were pretty interesting as well. Something crazy seems to have happened to Krusty. That didn't seem like a normal death. I really liked this episode even though most of it was information dumps and setup. |

Episode 6 [spoiler] Nice romance moment indeed. As for the respawning, I think there are multiple respawn points across the world and I believe they mentioned if you die in a dungeon you respawn at the entrance for example. Since Shiroe isn't in Akihabara he wouldn't respawn there. The other developments this episode definitely have the most intrigued since the start of this season. It might be another world-level spell in action that expands the world and makes everything more 'realistic' (size of the world, voices of genderswapped characters, flavor text impacts etc..). Pretty great idea to rely on flavor texts to create interesting stuff, this show definitely manages to stay very close to the MMORPG aspects while still creating intriguing arcs, just like the first season. I just hope Krusty is okay! |

Episode 7 The flavor text becoming true is a pretty cool angle. I actually felt bad for the killer there during his scene of possession due to the flavor text. It seems Krusty is also a victim of flavor text. I'm very interested in what has become of him. Back to the killer, that sword of his sure has some OP sounding attributes/abilities/effects. I liked the strategic planning for taking him on. It is great to see Akatsuki back to being a "fireball" on the battlefield. Her moping phase shall not be missed. Now it is time to see if her training and perseverance has paid off. On anther note, Shiroe is sorely missed. Hopefully, he is back next episode. |

Episode 8 Akatsuki was pretty beast this episode. Her new skill was pretty cool and I really liked the strategy involved in the battle. I liked the outcome even more as they simply destroyed the sword. I wonder if dude will go back to normal now? Anyway, good episode and it looks like we are finally going to get some Shiroe action next week. |

Episode 9 Shiroe returns! That raid boss fight was getting pretty intense. That is, up until the two additional raid bosses entered the battlefield and wiped everyone out. As much trouble as the single boss was giving them, I have no idea how they are going to manage. It was awesome to see Shiroe's side of the meeting between him and Akatsuki in the test server. I was pretty confused about that back when it first showed Akatsuki's side. It all makes sense now. Also, the trip into Shiroe's memories/death sequence was awesome. It was good to get some background on Shiroe himself as well as getting his perspective on the "master plan." There really wasn't a single moment in this episode that wasn't interesting. Great episode! Best of this second season, imo. One thing though. When Shiroe mentioned that the 3rd party made their existence clear, has that already happened and I missed it/forgot it, or was that just some foreshadowing? |

Episode 9 [spoiler] This was definitely an interesting episode, but I'm not sure I like that after all that time now they suddenly focus on that third party and the outside world and all the 'how and why' questions that have been so pleasantly ignored until now. Not only am I afraid this will either end up with some generic villain like SAO or with some cheesy supernatural resolution, but it also just seems a bit late at this point. I had honestly hoped/expected this to keep focusing on the world and not the meta stuff. Anyway, I guess I can't change what's happening so for now I'll just see where it goes. But I do agree that it was nice to see Shiroes POV for the events from a few episodes ago. |

Episode 10 Well the beginning and end of his speech was good, but I drifted elsewhere during the middle of it. Several times I had to rewind. It wasn't bad, but it did get a little "gamer nerd" cliche. I didn't much care for it until the end where he pretty much was like, "fuck the haters!" Props there, haha. It was a decent enough set-up episode. I look forward to seeing Shiroe's new strategy in action. Also, what about Krusty? The story has forgotten him it seems :(. |

Episode 11 So that was Shiroe's strategy, eh? I really like how we get to see these battles step by step. Not sure how I feel about Shiroe simply getting to the treasure room by sneaking passed distracted bosses. Maybe that was the dungeon design though. So many raid bosses at once seems impossible to defeat the conventional way after all. It seems the final boss must still be defeated. Also, that is a lot of gold. |

Episode 12 Shiroe being Shiroe! The gold system was pretty interesting even though we didn't get all of the details. Also, lol at idol girl being a trap. Episode 13 Most of the episode was pretty meh. Valentines day, love triangle nonsense. The end was interesting though. I wondered what had happened to that fox girl. I thought she was going to be the villain for this season. Maybe she still will be. Also, we at least got a mention of Krusty, so that is promising. |

Episode 13 Yeah pretty much what you said, the love triangle stuff was kinda meh but the end brought some excitement. Let's see what this arc brings to the table. Episode 14 [spoiler] To be honest I found this episode fairly confusing. Lots of different characters, that train, the flashbacks, the talk about the chinese server, I didn't really get all of it. But at least things are moving along :>. |

Episode 15 So the young ones are going on a quest together. Not that I don't like them but I wonder when the more serious stuff that's been foreshadowed all this time will finally take the spotlight. I mean this arcs looks decently fun but more on the relaxing side of things. Episode 16 [spoiler] For the most part this wasn't particularly exciting but female Shiroe at the end has me kinda interested. And they are starting to get worried about Krusty at last. It was about time xD. |

Episode 17 [spoiler] I like the air of mystery in this episode. Those adventurers with that creepy mobile shrine seemed like zombies. I'm guessing the whole thing with the memories getting lost/changed on death has stronger side effects with that mobile shrine. Also I want to know more about that weird female Shiroe twink. It seems like it's his sister playing if he has one, but her vampirism and comment about the moon (reminded me of the Akatsuki/Shiroe scene when they were both dead) has me interested. |

Episode 18 [spoiler] Is it just me or are things getting creepeir and creepier. The thing with the autotranslator screwing up translations is kinda scary, did they ever mention that before? That Marielly girl and her conversation with Tohya were also kinda weird, not to mention the interference by that creepy shrine and the sudden massive wyvern attack. Haven't been this engaged with the series since some of the season 1 parts. |

Episode 14 I think when they are talking about the various servers, it is just referring to the different countries within the game. Pretty much just substituting the word "country" for "server." Also, there were several awesome references in this episode regarding the new characters. - Nanami is clearly a tribute to Tifa (Final Fantasy VII). Her looks and fighting style are almost identical. - Froggy-nardo is a tribute to Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) he even declares that all he wants is some pizza, haha. - Chun-Lu is a tribute to Chun-Li (Street Fighter II). Obvious from her looks and name. - The Progenitor guy, can't remember his name, is a tribute to Link (Legend of Zelda). His looks and sword give it away. The maid and horse-guy could also be tributes to characters, but I didn't recognize either of them. Anyway, not the most exciting of episodes, but the references alone were enough to make me happy. Episode 15 Yeah, not my favorite episode of the series by any means. It was decent enough, but I'm also more excited about the serious points in the series. Also, Crusty where have you gone? Episode 16 Episode was pretty meh until the end. Hopefully, someone actually attempts to locate Crusty here soon. Agree that the female version of Shiro is intriguing. She is also a vampire which is pretty cool in its own right. Looking forward to kids' adventure ending and the important matters beginning. |

Episode 17 Episode started a bit slow, but the got better toward the end. That mobile shrine is a pretty interesting idea. Though, I agree, it seems to speed up the process of memory loss and enhance the side effects of respawning. They definitely look like bad news. Also, I'm suspicious of that blonde lady. She reacted strangely when the kids mentioned Wyverns. Episode 18 Yeah, I agree on how engaging this series has become these passed couple episodes. Here I thought the kids' journey wouldn't amount to anything. I think it feels even more uneasy because it is the kids and not the more powerful members of the guild that this is happening to. They have never mentioned the translation deal before, to my knowledge. It is a bit creepy and there is definitely something going on with that Marielly girl. I thought she was weird last episode at times too. No idea what they are going to do against that crazy amount of wyverns. Shit has hit the fan! |

Episode 19 Addicted to death? That is pretty dark. Though, I do see the Odyssey Knights side of things. They get to see the world, but aren't they losing the memories that they see? I guess that isn't necessarily the case or they wouldn't even remember seeing them. I thought this series was going to go somewhere with the loss of memories and death relation, but it hasn't really developed much. Maybe these guys will present us with some more information on the subject here soon. Tohya's backstory was interesting as well. Not that it was some sort of revelation to anime, but I didn't expect it. I can see why he isn't gung ho about returning through repeated death. Also, Roe 2 is clearly related to Shiroe somehow. She said she had a brother if I remember correctly, but it would have to be a twin. Maybe Shiroe somehow created her through world magic or something similar? That would be a bit more interesting/believable than a "long lost" twin he never mentioned or tried to contact. I guess time will tell. |

Episode 19 [spoiler] Tbh a lot of the Roe 2 dialogue seems pretty convoluted/pretentious to me and I still can't make much sense out of her. A sibling that shiroe never mentioned would really be kind of an asspull so my working theory is that she is a twink of his account that somehow got independent when the apocalypse happened? Idk. I did enjoy Tohya's backstory and finding out the truth about the OPdyssey knights. Addiction to death seems quite plausible in that scenario, and I liked the idea of it. Another mystery are those people of the land who somehow control these summoned things and gain experience? Why do they attack other people of the land though? And Nyanta attacks them? This part is even more confusing than Roe 2 right now so I hope it gets cleared up soon. Not too many episodes left and I feel there is still a lot of work to do to have this season make sense to me. |

Episode 20 Interesting episode though lots of things are still confusing. I'm really liking Isuzu and the other kids in this arc though, which is cool. Her song was nice. The scene with Nyanta and the train was also intriguing. Episode 21 [spoiler] And Roe 2 is gone again without giving us any answers about her :/. That 'genius of marriage' guy is both creepy and hilarious. Isuzu's song 'staying in the world' like that was very heartwarming. I guess this concludes the arc of the kids and now we have 4 episodes left for shit to hit the fan one way or the other. I wonder what the rest of this season has to offer. The last scene of the episodes gives me some hope that they might shed light on the Roe 2 mystery after all. |

Episode 20 The episode was decent enough. I have been digging Isuzu and her music in this arc. Not much else to say at this point. Episode 21 Yeah, they definitely emphasized Shiroe opening Roe 2's letter, so I'd expect some answers on her before all is said and done. So, nothing really came of their entire trip except for the song? I can't even remember what their mission was in the first place. I was worried about this arc at first, then it really picked up some steam and got me excited, but I just feel like it didn't deliver. I didn't much care for it and am glad it is over. Also, another Krusty mention, but he is still nowhere to be seen. There are still a ton more questions and all this arc did was create more while answering very few, if any. |

Episode 22 Wait, what? Was not expecting aliens to show up in the story. Let alone Roe 2 being one of them. Not sure how I feel about that. Its possible that it can be done right, but I have my doubts. I'm hoping he is using the word, alien, as an analogy. That info dump/reveal at the end of the episode just seemed too nonchalantly executed. I just thought it could have been handled much better and had more of an impact on the viewer. Are they trying to rush the ending here? I hope that isn't the case. Also, the early parts of the episode were pretty boring/cliche to be honest. I'm interested to see them get to the moon and get more answers. Hopefully, some more of this gets explained. I was happy to get some information this episode, but there are so many questions left. Episode 23 A set-up episode here with more side character exposure. I liked Isaac battling there at the end of the episode. Also, the boy he was guarding is to become the next King. Decently interesting stuff, though I'm much more interested in the main plot. Also, everyone fainting there at the end. Is it only effecting People of the Land? It seems that way. Still no Crusty and this series has to be setting up for a 3rd season. Otherwise, this ending is probably going to be pretty bad. |

Episode 22 This is just spiraling out of control, it all seems too much out there and has little to do with the atmosphere and focus of season 1 which I enjoyed so much. I mean it was nice to get some exposition and answers, even if it wasn't very well handled, but the whole direction of this season is just not very much to my liking. It seems like it's trying too hard to turn this into some kind of complex/complicated plot, and Deen's sub-par narrative choices aren't really helping either. Episode 23 [spoiler] Not that I didn't like the small side story about Isaac and Iselus, but it just feels so out of place after all the big revelations of last episode. This season keeps bringing up these huge issues but still manages to widely ignore them, idk if it's to blame on Deen's narrative or not, but the endresult just feels awkward even when the individual parts are somewhat enjoyable. At this point I feel like there's no way this is gonna have a conclusion that will satisfy me, but I guess we'll have to see. |

Episode 24 That was easily the best episode in a long while. Loved the chaos and the raid sequence. It seems they have their hands full, but Shiroe looks like he has a plan. Really, there wasn't much to dislike about this episode, imo. Though, with only one episode left, there is no way they can wrap all of this up. I'll hope for the raid's conclusion and a third season. Anyway, great episode, this type of episode has been sorely missed. |

Episode 24 And yet another subplot emerges, lol. I swear it's like the plot of this season is a hydra. And it seems the series will only focus on that new raid and ignore everything else they brought up this season :/. Well, at least the raid sequence was fun to watch and some pretty great visual moments as well. Episode 25 [spoiler] Some more nice visuals in the fight, but aside from that it was a pretty unsatisfying conclusion as expected. This season had similar problems as the Tokyo Ghoul season, introducing too many characters and plot points while not properly focusing on and fleshing them out most of the time. A third season could fix that, but since there is no more source material it would take at least a few years and I think at that point the chances of another season are gonna be kinda slim :/. 6/10 for me. |

Episode 25 Yeah, I 100% agree with you on this one. I really liked the first season, but this one was just hit or miss the entire time. A couple good episodes followed by a couple boring/meh episodes. Every time I thought it was starting to become engaging again, a weak episode or two ruined the momentum. At least we got to see Crusty, but all that did was create way more questions surrounding him. Also, I'm extremely confused about the girl and her daughter thing. How did she have a baby while being trapped in the game? She mentions she wants to show her daughter the game world, but also mentions how her daughter cutely climbs on her legs. That whole thing made zero sense to me. I didn't much care for anything in this episode. I'm sure that raid would have been way more enjoyable if it was in the middle of the series. The whole time I was watching it though, I just wished they would be explaining/answering questions or revealing some of the mysteries instead. Tons of questions unanswered and this badly needs a 3rd season. I hope we do eventually get one, but who knows. I gave this a 6/10 as well, (66%). |

I'm pretty sure the daughter thing she was talking about was about the time after she used to be in the same guild as Shiroe and before the apocalypse happened. That's the only way it makes sense. I think she mentioned that she's like 3 years old? |
