| Boring? Well, I guess some people hate slow build up. I was pretty hyped since episode 1 when it comes to Steins;Gate, as episode 1 already promised a great show. (Much like the very first minute of Madoka Magika) Do continue, but if you still don't like it when episode 11 hits... Stop. |

For me, it's a 8-ish. while the romance is definitely not the focus, but the build up and bonding between the 2 characters put countless supposed "romance" anime to shame. Overall, the theme of "caring for each other" is a lot heavier than "love", but when love is involve, it doesn't feel weak. |

| The romance isn't bad 6/10. If you're not liking it three episodes in, just drop it. Don't drag yourself through mediocrity because of "critical acclaim". That's quite possibly one of the most sheepish things you could do, almost as bad as that guy asking how to watch pre 2000s shows. People do tend to say it gets better at about episode 13 or so. |

| A lot of people find the first 11 episodes boring. I personally enjoyed all of it, but it's true that the real meat of the series begins towards the end of episode 12. It takes on a completely different atmosphere from then onward. |

| I probably dropped this show 3-5 times after watching the first couple episodes multiple times. Thought the pacing was slow to me, but then I decided to give it a shot. Lets just say once I hit episode 12 I flew by 7 episodes without noticing it. |
