| Stage fright and pressure? Mameda should've known beforehand even after her training. I think she and Rakuda has the most entertaining chemistry in this episodem slightly comical but also somewhat serious. Rakuda has a short temper compared to Mameda though, which make his personality even more entertaining. |

| Shirara's on her way to becoming a full-fledged Rakugoka, up one rank on the stage. The Tenjin Festival where Shirara's promotion will be held, and Mameda being an opener is suitable...if only her fear of stage fright can be overcome, with the same illusive and strange dreams coming every now and then chocking her performance. Shirara's advice of treating the audience like food, but at the expense of looking at food like the audience, Mameda's really in a spin while Bunko's just expecting her usual meals, only to be met with disappointment that she couldn't have Mameda's cooking. Mameda's only choice is to see Shirara's Yakuza bodyguard Rakuda for help, where he could've helped in the festival instead of being requested by Mameda to eye at her performance while looking at her on and off, which clearly didn't help enough. Mameda finally accepting her weaknesses towards Bunko, and she's definitely relieved that she's not doing this alone. Ganbatte, Mameda. You'll definitely need all the courage you can get for your first performance. |

| The eyecatches in Episode 6 of Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai (My Master Has No Tail) feature the Daimaru (大丸) Department Store in Shinsaibashi, the main shopping area of Osaka. The first eyecatch shows the interior during the Taisho era, and the second is the exterior in present day. The name "Daimaru" is changed to "Oomaru" in the eyecatch to avoid trademark infringement. The kanji 大 can be read alternatively as "Oo" instead of "Dai". I have included photos that match the scenes in the eyecatches. In both the Taisho era and the Reiwa era, Mameda is struggling to carry Bunko's shopping 😃 |
| man i didn't realize we are already half-way through this anime until i clicked on the ep discussion. it went by fast. this episode healed me. such a great episode. best one till now for me. laughed multiple times this episode. felt very nice to see Mameda working so hard and doing everything she can to overcome her fear. and the best part was shishou not even worried that she'll mess up or anything. the last part made me misty eyed too. looking forward to Mameda's performance. 5/5 episode. |

| "watch without looking" LOL "putting my fingers in my eyes would hurt" LOL both the yakuza guy and the little senpai girl are amusing and i like their interactions with Mameda while being nervous before going on the stage is normal, becoming scared of food is not haha nice lesson at the end tho with "not being confident in yourself means you were not raised properly, so you should always be confident" or something |

| The implication that Rakuda "loves" Shirara somehow makes the way he treated her in episode 4 even worse. Did the mangaka forget that he literally knocked her out by punching her in the stomach, and then kidnapped her? Or am I supposed to find the whole thing cute? Either way, this creepy romance (?) subplot clashes way too hard with the goofy and lighthearted main story. |
| Very nice episode, the mafia leader made her realize that she should trust her master, also the fact that she is just hungry is very funny. |
