| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It seemed to be a very uninspired romance, rather boring despite its shortness. I love 80s anime but: -the characters have an horrible head geometry, -the musics and songs aren't good (love 80s japane anime songs and those were terrible) The only good thing was the basic idea defining the main female character. Enjoyment: 2/5 Score: 3/10 Too bad I couldn't understand the conclusion dialogue (except some words). | I feel deceived because I went by what the cover looks like, and it looked nothing like it. Even if it had been subbed, just based off the visuals and setting alone, it's a dull, uninspired anime regardless. |

| "Don't Wake up from the Dream!" is precisely that, a ova about a boy having precious moments with his crush until he discovers the truth and wakes up, a nice metaphor should i add... ...and mystery resolved! right up the end of the story, she confirms that AV rumor was true :( |

| Is it me or she was just a gravure idol?? One of those young girls that just pose in bikini for magazines. Or did the protagonist actually stopped her before she fucked someone in stage?? Like want she a high school student?? There's no way she could be doing porn, right? What ever it was bad and it sucked |

| I went into this thinking the cover looked interesting, and left with the realization that the cover did not even remotely portray the series. With the name of the series and the design of the cover, you'd think there's some paranormal or supernatural aspect to it all, but nope. And out of the two girls in the anime, none of the girls on the cover are them! So that's pretty disappointing. I got bamboozled hard. As for the anime itself, it was pretty generic. The AV spin on it was the only real interesting thing about it, and even then the payoff was pretty lackluster. I wouldn't say there's really anything that makes it any worse than a 5/10, but it also didn't do anything to impress me either. The soundtrack was alright, at least. EDIT: Aha, I did a little research, and this is a cover for a novel that was published in 1997, 10 years after this anime aired. Completely different plot, too. It's (mostly) unrelated. The anime is based on an original work by Shirakura Yumi, and she did write that 1997 novel, but the original work seemed to be a radio broadcast first, then was later reworked into the novel. So it's kind of loosely based on it. But overall, the cover is inaccurate to the anime. |

| Holy shit, that was garbage. From the massive fiveheads of the characters, to the VA work, to the sound mixing, to the shitty unfinished plot. Only watched this because it was Shaft. 2/10. |
| Although started very well, is falling into a very weak argument, and the climax too childish, not youthful.... she has a profession, and win money, but sHe does not explain the reason for the decisions, the whole time it is the boy and his thoughts, but for the grade he is in, it seems like they were in kindergarten. 3/10 kekeke |
| So the rumors were she does pornography but it seems she just lays around in lingerie and sometimes meows? Seems pretty tame, I don't really understand why she was so ostracized for just that. I didn't really understand her dialogue at the very end, though it's ironic she's going on about leaving things half finished and the OVA just ends. It feels like we only got not even a third of what the whole story here was. |
