Otome Youkai Zakuro

Both have Katsune as there main character and have similar artwork. 

both excellent shoujos...gods,demons... the relationships between humans and demons & fantastic music! 

both involve youkai/human characters and the relationship between the two. except in otome youkai zakuro the guy is the human and the main heroine is the youkai. both have shoujo themes with a bit of romance/sweet moments 

the same thing .. shoujo about human + youkai .. supernatural beings Foxes , spirits .. etc .. people team up to solve other people's problems .. sweet light-hearted series .. 

Both anime involve spirits and contain a bit of ancient Japanese culture. The main characters also have a romantic interest in each other. 

Both animes are about yokai and humans living together and in kamisama they are granting wishs and in Otome they are helping people with problems that involve spirits. They are fairly similar and if you liked Kamisama Hajimemashita or Otome Youkai Zakuro then you will like the other. 

They both include a romance between human (in KH, the human is female) and a fox demon (male in KH). In OYZ, the female lead struggles to come to terms with her feelings whereas in KH, the male lead struggles to come to terms with his feelings all while questioning and challenging the taboo of a relationship between demon and human. I would say that they have the same pace as they have the same number of episodes. I would also suggest that you read the manga because it goes into more details (however it is ongoing).  

Both have very similar artwork. They are both about yokai and humans coexisting, as well as spirits and shrines. Kamisama is funnier and more lighthearted, but Otome Youkai Zakuro has a similar atmosphere. They are both entertaining and have some romance, but Otome Youkai Zakuro has more violence and action. It is extremely plot-driven, whereas Kamisama is more character driven. Both are great animes with great plots, but Kamisama is much more shoujo. 

-Both are about humans and youkai -The twins in Otome Youkai Zakuro are quite a lot like mizuki -Zakuro is a lot like Tomoe -The art is similar and both are beautiful -Both light hearted anime with romance and comedy 

Both shows focus on humans making "contracts" with spirits and joining them in dealing with various supernatural problems  

Both feature half breed youkai. In both there is romance. Both have a group living in the same manor.

Both shows are lighthearted comedies with a mix of slight drama. Both heroines are not human and series are about Japanese ayakashi/demons.  

Story focused on youkai entities being protected by others – human or not, while living under the same roof. They also have a non-human girl who posses some kind of power and is feared by most people. 

Half breed youkai living in a mansion. Main heroes (Miketsukami and Agemaki) promise to protect main heroine. And main heroines (Ririchiyo and Zakuro) are tsundere and have dark past. Also include similar romance. 

> Shoujo anime about half-blood youkai-s living in human society. Strong romantic line & bishounen-s. > Protagonist is a youkai girl accompanied by male companion. She's tsundere. > Many slice of life elements, but there are also scenes of fighting against supernatural. The main heroine uses a cold weapon to fight. > The same ideas of how it's hard to be youkai among humans. Many characters have a hard childhood. 

both anime story plot is about half spirit where half human half yokai and funny however the timeline of the anime is different inu x boku ss is in the modern days and otome youkai zakuro is during the Meiji Westernization.  

Both Inu X Boku SS, and Otome Youkai Zakuro, have to do with a girl pairing up with a guy for protection. They are also similar in which they are set in a fantasy supernatural world. Of course they also have relationship building, character development, and romance. Both have a nice emotional plot, good humor now and then, and beautiful art. 

Both shows deal with youkai and humans living together in the same place. Both central females are also similar, in being initially self-centered however as the romance progresses, they begin to open up to the male central character 

The characters are almost identical to those from Ouran, so I suppose they might go together. 

Both are great romance anime. Tamaki and Agemaki remind me alot of each other :) I loved both shows. 

The characters in both series are very similar. The prince-type-blonde which ended up being super funny and pathetic (Tamaki and Agemaki), The hyper identical twins (Hikaru & Kaoru and Bonbori & Hoozuki) that are imposible to tell apart but someone does, the one who does is kindda normal and is poke by the twins (Haruhi and Ganryuu), The silent one (Mori-senpai and Riken).Plus both series are Romance and Comedy. 

just the right amount of romance, and just the right amount of comedy. Characters are very similar in an odd way. If you liked one you most likely will like the other :] 

Similar rolls among the main characters, and the relationship between the two main male and female protagonist. Twins are also presented in both. 

Both have similar art styles and contain characters with similar personalities 

The action takes place in the same kind of universe filled with spirits, demons and other magic creatures. On top, both series deal with human- demon relationships and the acceptance of each species. 

Both of these Anime deal with half-demons, each with a different way of becoming demons. They also deal with spiritual powers with female characters. They also have detailed art, though more so with Otome Youkai Zakuro due to it being newer. 

These series deal with half "spirits" or demons and they revolve around the main half-spirit/demon characters and their human companions. They show their growing relationships and their fight against rouge demons and enemies. 

Inuyasha is a half-demon who is neither accepted by human or demons. This may not be the main issue of the anime (which is gathering the shikon jewel) but it does turn up quite a few times. The half-demon himself does partner himself up with a human girl, Kagome just like Zakuro and Agemaki. While Inuyasha and Kagome travel to search for pieces of the shikon jewel, they come across people who need help, which ultimately they both work together,developing a close relationship 

Both are romantic stories between men and animal eared spirit girls with powers. They share the same depth and elegant themes as well. 

Female lead is a not human, eared tsundere girl. Both are Romance between a normal humand and the eared girl. 

If you look for some romance and cute girls with pointy ears, look no FURther as both of these series have them. Also, they both take place in a historical setting: Medieval European in Spice & Wolf and Japanese Meiji era in Zakuro.  

They have 4 similarities: (1) Both are set in a historic period of Japan. (2) The characters of the two anime both fight mythical creatures (demon in Hakuouki, spirit in Zakuro) (3) Both anime have romance in it, and (4) The male characters of both anime are bishounens. 

Both of these animes have a really Japanese feel to it. Other than Japanese practises, they both incorporate the fantasy genre into them. 

In both shows, the main characters belong to an organization that helps clients who come seeking their assitance. In the both animes, the plot is also connected to the backstory of the main female character, Ookami-san. As for character's, Agemaki and Ryoushi are extremely similiar characters in personality. For comedic effect that completely endears you to the character both are cowards that can stem their fear every so often and help out. Also similiar are Ookami-san and Zakuro, both are tsudere-type characters that have a soft or weaker side but are stronger than the lead male character, except in times of emotional distress, of course.  read more 

Note: This recommendation is many months after I watched the animes Both animes contain a somewhat/complete tsundere female as well as the weaker male that grows into the reliable love interest. As implied, the female is more reliable than the male, but the male still comes through to save the female.  

Both are about the relationship between humans and youkai (demons, spirits). Both have fights, comedy and hints of future romance.

Both have something to do with supernatural. Has spirits, or gods. And while the focus in hiiro no kakera is having to protect the world, romance is big in the series too lol. Highly recommend it I loved it 

Deals with youkai and spirits ~  

Similarities: Both has male characters who were wussies at first. And I'm pertaining to Uchida "Bummie" Fumiaki and Agemaki Kei. Both had female characters ( Maya Kumashiro and Zakuro) who despises their male character at first but only to gain their respect later on. Both of them are tsunderes as well. Both female characters are brave in the face of evil. both female characters get to kick the butts of their male characters Both anime deals with the supernatural. Dissimilarities One anime is set in the early 20th century while the other is set towards the new millennium. One female character is herself a half spirit and half human, while the other is a full human. One look good in a yukata while the other has a bad sense of fashion (except in a school uniform). However, Zakuro doesn't seem to look good naked, while Maya is way hot in the nude (even with the towel on). One female character has her own supernatural powers to fight evil, while the other rely on her associates, charms (her father's notebook), weapons (crossbow) and her bodyguards that she doesn't know she has, for help. One didn't develop any feelings towards her male character until the last 3 episodes of the anime, while the other one already has feelings for her male character, though she would display some hostilities towards him.  read more 

This animes are very-very similarity, because Tanko Kugen and Zakuro can use magic and they are the spirits of a fox ^^ 

Both of these storylines contain light-hearted romance and comedy throughout. The male protagonists in both are blond and handsome, from straight-laced upbringing while the female protagonists have a connection to the magical world. Both are embroidered with delicate animation and lovely art, I recommend to anyone who enjoys a light and refreshing plot.  

Honestly, just look at the main male character. Both anime are shoujo and the art looks similar - light and pleasant.  

- These shows both have settings were youkai and humans live side by side, and separately at the same time. - The art in both is similar and I personally consider it beautiful. - They both have interesting stories even though I think that Otome Youkai Zakuro has little bit more depth in its story than Natsume Yuujinchou has. While Natsume's story develops slower and it introduces many different stories of different youkai and characthers, Otome is more concentrated on Zakuro's and other half-spirit's stories. - In both series the characthers understand at one point that there are also gentle and good youkai among the evil ones. - Both very good series indeed.
