The order the author originally wrote the series in, preferred by a significant number of Monogatari fans. One of the recommended orders for first time anime watchers.

These are H&E series I'd categorize as "Progressive."

This doesn't indicate quality, originality, or anything sociopolitical so much as being H&E series that have priorities which radically depart from traditional H&E priorities. They could do anything from use some wacky narrative structure to implementing ecchi in some way to focusing more heavily on the MC relative to the harem. Things that go outside of the priorities stated in the traditionalist stack, and either in ways that are far too pronounced to be considered moderate, departing from tradition far too often to be considered moderate, or both.

I'm not saying these series don't tend to appeal to H&E fans, or might appeal more to people who don't typically like H&E. I'm saying that these are the series that don't adhere to traditional sensibilities within the genre, for better or for worse.

This order is the result of Shaft's production delays so it's not the most popular order, but it has its own advantage for first-timers as well regarding enjoyment.

Summary: The Kizumonogatari films are put off until later on in the Final Season rather than after Bakemonogatari (LN Order), and Hanamonogatari is watched after Monogatari Series: Second Season rather than in between arcs.

Delaying Kizumonogatari until later on adds more to its sense of mystery regarding major characters' backstories, but in return sacrifices context for future arcs and takes away the importance of main characters' relationship development.

Another order that first-time anime watchers use. Taking into account how the author intended to convey the story and correcting production constraints, while also considering the better way to experience the story in an anime format.

Order recommended by the MC's voice actor, Hiroshi Kamiya. Though, this order is not largely popular. It is claimed that you can see how events unfold and affect the main characters, but may lose the intended mystery held within. The animation and plot style for Kizu also largely differ from the rest of the story.

NOTE: Neither Zeth_kiel, Squashbucklr nor I know anyone that has used or recommends this order, so we are unable to objectively provide comparisons regarding how different it is to experience the series in this order. I suggest not using this unless someone told you to follow this knowing that it would fit you.

Hanamonogatari should be watched after the first two arcs of Monogatari Series: Second Season, followed by the last two arcs of the second season.

These animes were the landmarks in anime industry. Critically acclaimed shows and popular for its story, characters, development, and the amazing experience that the audience might feel. Some of them are old and modern, but it has the same level of "masterpiece" that I've seen so far.

This collection was composed of mystery and horror animes. Some of animes were purely mystery and some of them were combination of both. They are great shows that will make your mind blown and thrilled at the same time. It may be the animes aren't meant for everyone but I still hope you'll give it a try. They are still enjoyable to watch.

List of anime featuring at least one LGBT+ character that aren't BL or GL. I try to only put those that are either confirmed canon (in story or by the author) or so explicitly implied that there's little to none other interpretation.

- Not all of these are "perfect" representations. Some more controversial portrayals have a warning in the comments.

- (Recent update) Edited the list so that characters who's sexuality is more "up for debate" are now written down as MLM/WLW instead of the mouthful Gay/Bi/Pan (which I'd forget to write in some places anyway)

- All nonbinary people are transgender. If a character is described as nonbinary instead of trans it's just to specify that that's what the anime more heavily points at.

- For the "not BL/GL" rule I went with whatever the anime is tagged as on MAL (though some of these I believe should've been tagged when they're not...). List might change as MAL keeps editing stuff.
