Temptation is not a show for fans of the happy/concensual) hentai genre. The subgenres that are not listed in the genre section of the page are RAPE, BONDAGE, BLACKMAIL, YURI and CATGIRLS.
Story: 8/10
At first glance, Temptation looks like your standard blackmail hentai. Main character gets caught doing something he shouldnt and is forced to do something for another person or face the consequences. fairly straight foreward right? WRONG. Temptation has that in its plot but there is a strong ROMANCE subplot. "But i thought you said it wansn't for fans of happy/concensual hentai." You're right, ... but i cant explain why the series is unhappy without giving away a massive spoiler.
Art 9/10
The art in Temptation is very well done. The series has little in the way of looping and the director utilises all the standard viewing angles as well as pulling off some unusual methods that I have yet to see elsewhere(first 2-3 min of episode 2 are the best examples). The drawing is crisp and colorful and the animation is smooth andfor the mostpart(i cant stress this enough) loop free.
Sound: 9/10
The sound effects in Temptation are convincing and well synched. the voice acting is synched to the movement of the mouths and sound is never looped. There is a distinct lack of a musical score which is made most noticable at the finale of episode 2. Its subtle appearance changes the entire mood of the final scene.
Character: 8/10
Being a 2 episode hentai with a cast of 10 voiced characters I personally wasnt expecting there to be much in the way of character development. For the most part, there is little to no developement for any of the characters save for the two protagonists, Professor Ayabe and Sakura(

Unable to resist his urges, a professor is caught red-handed having sex with one of his coeds. He soon finds himself being blackmailed, and he is forced into helping his blackmailer by having sex with girls from his school, all while recording it on video.

In terms of quality, the plot is mediocre and forgettable, the characters aren't much better, the sex is alright for the most part (except for one scene which involves an especially Ugly Bastard near the beginning of the second episode, so watch out), and the animation is actually decent for a hentai. But the only thing worth mentioning about this 2 ... episode OVA is the English dub. Or, more specifically, the memorably bad dialogue in the English dub.

It has some of the cheesiest dialogue that I've heard in an English dub for a hentai. While it does have dialogue such as "All I can think about is riding your rod until you explode", "Purify my snatch", and "I need a drink and some anal", the most infamous line of dialogue out of the whole thing is the main character telling the character that he is fucking to "Cluck like a chicken". And then the character actually clucks like a chicken.

It's like the people writing and and performing the English dub knew exactly what trash they were voicing, and knew that nobody watching would give a shit either, so they decided to have some fun with it.

But to top it all off, this infamous line "Cluck like a chicken" is delivered by none other than the voice actor Dan Green, known most for playing buth Yami and Yuuhi from the Yu-Gi-Oh series. This is clearly a role that he took for a paycheck, and I don't blame him for it, but the mere fact that someone with such a fantastic voice shows up in a hentai, and delivers some of the best worst dialogue than a hentai has ever seen is one of the funniest things that I've ever heard when watching spank material. If it wasn't for Dan Green, I wouldn't have even checked this out.

Would I recommend this for a laugh? If you laughed at the montages of bad hentai dialogue across the internet, you might get a kick out of seeing some of it in context. But even then, once you see the first episode, you don't really need to move onto the second episode. But would I actually recommend this hentai as jerk off material? You could do a hell of a lot worse in terms of hentai. But then again, you could do a hell of a lot better.

The first episode was nice, only to be destroyed by a second episode with unnecessary content. Because I'll be discussing both episodes, please beware of spoilers!

Wow, a 2003 hentai animation with better production value than most hentai being pumped nowadays? That is indeed a very rare hidden gem! Only that... this hentai is indeed hidden, but not a gem. To be more accurate, in my mind, it was supposed to be a very good hentai with a decent story: a professor being blackmailed by a superior to rape some girls—that's it. Everything should end there. However, the second episode destroys a good exposition with a ... sorry attempt to "deepen" the story. However, I shall give the anime's apparent "twist" the benefit of being logical—logical but nonetheless unnecessary and destroys story immersion.

I particularly do not mind the art of 2003 animation—like what I said earlier, it has the potential to be a hidden gem if not for its excuse of a "story." I repeat, it is a 2003 hentai animation with better production value than most hentai being pumped nowadays. That potential stems from the art—but to be perfectly honest, the art style also did some damage to its overall quality which makes it not as good as it can be.

I can't really comment on the sounds since it's mediocre enough and unnoticeable. As for the character, the professor—our MC—caught my attention. He gave off the impression that despite being able to rape many cute girls—he still abides by some sort of morals, which makes him NOT heartless, and is a very rare personality among MCs in rape hentai—unlike most who are hungry rapists. This makes him as unique as he can be. Nevertheless, the horrendousness of the other characters greatly outweighs his likeability, making this part of the show still as dreadful.

Because of all these, all of my stock enjoyment from thinking about discovering a potential hidden gem quickly diminished. The anime wasn't scary, but I did cringe from both disapproval and horror.
