lots of fighting...lots of ecchi...
Tenjou Tenge have more fighting
Ikkitousen have more ecchi
Ikkitousen is the same genre of anime as Tenjou Tenge. They both are heavily based on the martial arts and ecchi genre with a bit of the superpower genre tossed in as well. Although Ikkitousen has more ecchi and a proper ending.
Ikkitousen is a cheap rip off of Tenjou Tenge with more ecchi, if that's possible. Tenjou Tenge is definitely a better anime, and more serious.
If you like Tenjou Tenge because of its super smash brawling action, courtesy of Nagi and the Natsume sisters, then Ikkitousen's Sonsaku Hakufu and her subordinates won't disappoint you.
Hot, fighting girls ;)
Interesting story
Both feature a ton of action, a lot of fan service, and both share a fairly ridiculous storyline.... Need I say more?
they both involve FIGHTING in SCHOOL as well as an ECCHI factor (well not as much)
i guess that's it... nothing else to say...
Fights, Sexy girls, cool guys, breats and tangas xD
Fighting and fanservice!
Ikkitousen is the raunchier of the two, though.
Both take place in high schools where marshal arts are the center of all things. Also, the characters in both series posses supernatural powers that enhance their marshal arts.
School Life, Comedy , Ecchi , Fights all looks the same ;p
Both are filled with tons of ecchi, "high school" kids fighting each other over respect and territory, and tons of girls with over the top... well you know. In the end, while Ikkitousen seems to focus on fan service and nothing else, Tenjou Tenge actually has a story worth paying attention to, as well as characters that don't have stereotypical personalities.
This is pretty much the same anime to me but Tenjou Tenge was way better. You should still enjoy this one though if you like Tenjou Tenge as it is the same type of fighting and theory in the anime.

matrial arts and big boobs
Quite similar. Cool fighting.Good looking babes.
Same type of story. Main character is a weakling that joins a school that has fighting clubs and gangs that like to test out the new freshmen to see how strong they are. Main character gets picked on and joins a dojo to get stronger. He ends up getting hunted down by the local gang and has to protect him self. Full of comedy just like Tenjou Tenge.
Both shows are about training and getting stronger.
Kenichi is a weakling and bullied by everyone, so he wants to become stronger.
In Tenjou Tenge is quite different: Souichiro and Bob are delinquents who controlled 100 school. However, they are accepted by a school where most of the students are martial artists who could easily beat Souichiro and Bob, so they start training...

Both series have female combatants. Sekirei is more fan serviced based.
Both are about fights and love :). Impressive fights and also " fan service" is everywhere :D
Beautiful busty female characters, martial arts, and supernatural powers

they are both top of the line fighting animes you well find
Both are Fighting Shounen Animes with a lot of action and both go to way of "fights with more punches and kicks than fireballs/projectiles". Also, both have a "badboy" protagonist, a girl who loves the main, a Loser boy, Cool loking antagonists and a group who walk together with main.

A much more R-rated version of the insane action and deep conflicts you expect from any shounen.

If you like Tenjou Tenge, you might like Ikkitousen (especially Dragon Destiny). Now, I know Ikkitousen has been recommanded to death, but Dragon Destiny has way more similarities with Tenjou Tenge and is way more recommandable than the first season: better production quality and they both have stories related to some kind of 'dragon eye'.
If you like Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny, you might like Tenjou Tenge. Same kind of story related to some kind of 'dragon eye' but with a slightly poorer production quality.

Both anime have 2 main male characters that love havin' fight in high school..
Plus, Kyou Kara Ore Wa will make u laugh a lot! ~

"Real Bout" and "Tenjou Tenge" both involve high schools that focus around martial arts. Battles always break out randomly and the humor follows suite.

Dejá vu would explain this recommendation pretty well. Same motivations, same style, same genre... Similar character designs, similar plot, similar situations...
Even the "WTF?! This can't be the freaking end!!!" feeling from both shows is the same here (aka. the ending is terrible / non existent).
In other words, if you liked one it is IMPOSSIBLE to not like the other. The only thing that differentiates them is basically the fact that this is a bit more violent and a bit less ecchi and the pace is a bit different (this one is way faster), but everything else is near a carbon copy.

Since they are by the same author, they have the equal amount of good action, as well as good animation to match up with them. The not-so-good male protagonist is also included, also with many hot girls to light up the scene. Of course, the amount of fanservice is about the same, although Air Gear is toned down a lot more
