I was first introduced to anime by the awesome Spirited Away, but the ones that really got me hooked were Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha and Full Metal Panic.
I have a rather broad taste for anime and am open to a wide variety of genres, however due to watching too many, I have become more and more selective. Even then, my guilty pleasures towards some very typical shonen and shoujo targeted animes still exist. I can be a bit biased when rating animes, it can have a weak story but if the music, animation and characters make up for it, then I'll still give it a high score. As there has not been any improvement with mass messages issue, Canon Pairings Club wasn't able to continue our tournament with the couples... Nevertheless, we want to continue it. The only way we came up with is MASS MAILING :) So, those of you who are willing to continue to vote in our matches, please send me your email address. I assure you, it will be used for matches notifications ONLY. If there will be a certain number of addresses which allow us to continue, we will restart the votings!! In case not, the waiting for the mass msg will continue..

I also put Kyou kara maou on hold but I was already on the 3rd season by then(i'm on episode 9). And I've been looking for a site to finish it on.
The first and second season was easy for me to finish because I thought the show was hilarious.
But I understand the thing with anime dragging out too long. That's why I stopped watching naruto shippudden. I read the manga now.
Yeah I do love historical stories. I loved history in school too. Mostly the ancient times and the middle ages but I will watch anything which has something related to myths, or history!:)
