Aoba Riku has just transferred to a new high school because of his father's job, and things aren't quite what he expected. The headmaster's secretary controls the school while espousing the virtues of academic freedom, the teachers are even stranger than normal teachers, and half the student body is walking around with animal ears on. On his very first day, Riku is unfortunate enough to find himself at the center of the student council's latest event, which has him running for his life. All this on top of the normal high school rigour of popularity contests, crushes, and homework makes it unsure whether Riku will be able to survive this new school.

For those of you who like humor, pretty girls romancing over a guy, and interesting episodes; this is one that I would recommend.

Ah the various goals of these romantic comedies. Is it for the guy to get the girl(s) or for them to graduate and have life lessons, etc... It is a harem comedy, so the guy has to choose between a few beautiful girls. It is a high school set, so you move through the school season.

For me personally, the Journey is entertaining. The humor stands out. For example, they have a little chick (baby chicken) that is one of the read more

There are 3 main aspects that make a high-school harem love comedy work. 1 is pretty girls, the second is chracter drama and the third is comedic moments. Whereas Tokimeki Memorial hosts the first two, it is severely let down by the comedy.

The attempted comedy in this show is very over the top and stupid, and while this may work for some, it fails to hit my funny-bone on more than a few occasions. Support characters, such as Aoba's friends are full of idiocy, yet lacking in any real substantial humour. The sports societies and their presidents are one off lame jokes, and by far read more

To sum up Tokimeki Memorial - Only Love in the best way I could without giving spoilers:

Pretend your an egg, freshly laid from your mother hen. You feel joy to the world as in a matter of days you will hatch and become a cute little baby chick. Then all of a sudden an old lady picks you up as well as your brother and sister eggs beside you and places you in a basket. Your thinking, "this old lady must think we're cold so is putting us some place we could hatch in a warmer environment, oh how kind she is!".

Then you realize read more

This is the second best anime ever made.

I never thought that this would happen, I really didn't, but I actually found a harem that turned out to be the best anime (TV) that I have ever seen. There are two main factors that contributed to this, one is the fact that the producers have found perfect harmony between storyboard and screenplay, it was simply beautiful. Secondly was the main character. He wasn't stereotypical at all, which is a first when it comes to harem. Usually harem main protagonists are guys with no redeeming traits nor any extraordinary attributes. Here we have a different type of read more

Anime: Ichigo 100%
The same genres and The characters look so much alike (even Tsukasa has the same name). Not to mention the fact that I couldn't help but notice the entire way through that one reminded me of the other. Ichigo is like an ecchi version of Tokimeki Memorial.

Anime: Clannad
They seem to have the same feel and kind of writing, even though clannad hasn't put itself out there as a romance anime.

Anime: Amagami SS
Similar as in one guy getting all the girls. The artwork is also similar and they both have that same type of twist with the main girl. The main girls are similar in many ways i.e. smart and popular.

Anime: Rosario to Vampire
They share the school environment and the easy atmosphere. Both also have the same kind of stupid situations involving weird pranks by certain character types. While the school in Tokimeki isn't as strange as the one in Rosario they're both pretty odd and have their specialities. Plus, of course, all the desirable girls fall for the main character.

Anime: Shuffle!
Tokimeki and Shuffle are hilarious harems where there are similiar characters in each show. Both have a shy girl, a shool idol, and a funky outgoing chick. i guarantee that if you watch one show you will LOVE the other. ;)

Anime: Suzuka
In both story, the male protagonist loves a girl but complicated things happen. Being seduced or being forced and had a several relationship with different girls is also presented here.
