I too have the problem of not listening to a lot of albums more than once. I need to rectify that for sure.

I've mostly gravitated towards the Phil stuff when it comes to Genesis. I still haven't given Foxtrot and Lamb full listens. I'm almost afraid to listen to Lamb on YouTube because I feel like buffering, ads, space between tracks, etc., might negatively affect my experience with the album. Maybe I should look into using Spotify or re-subscribing to Amazon Music.

I can honestly say that Invisible Touch is a way better album than it is given credit for. Yeah, people love to hate on the title track; I think it's alright. I love "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight", "In Too Deep", and "The Brazilian" especially, but "Land of Confusion", "Anything She Does", "Domino", and "Throwing It All Away" are good songs in their own right as well.

As for We Can't Dance, that's a bit more hit & miss. The real highlights on the album for me are "No Son of Mine", "Jesus He Knows Me", and "Since I Lost You". "I Can't Dance" and "Hold On My Heart" are also great. The rest are alright at best and kinda annoying at worst (e.g., "Living Forever"). Overall, it's a fine album if you're in the mood, but it's nowhere near as good as even Invisible Touch.

I've never heard of IQ or delved into Marillion or any other neo-prog group. I will have to check them out! What albums do you recommend I start with?

Now a question for you, what is your opinion on Peter Gabriel's solo work? I've heard a handful of songs here and there, but believe it or not, the song I've been bumping the most lately is "Shock the Monkey". Call me crazy, but it's pretty awesome.

Yeah, to tell you the truth, I haven't delved much into the Peter stuff, but I did really enjoy Trespass, Nursery Cryme, and Selling England by the Pound. I must say, what do you think of Genesis, Abacab and beyond?

I've listened to those three Gentle Giant albums plus Free Hand. Very cool and unique. Highlights include Giant, Working All Day, Peel the Paint, and Think of Me with Kindness.

I must ask, Vince, are you a fan of Gentle Giant?

One of Genesis's classics. Pete Pardo of Sea of Tranquility said it best - that A Trick of the Tail was basically a sequel to Selling England by the Pound.
