Cute girls, killer music, and the behind-the-scenes story of modern Japanese entertainment, along with subtle fanservice and beautiful animation—prepare yourself for a treat with Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai.
This anime is special in almost every aspect. The animation is breathtaking; you can tell they put their heart and soul into the first episode. The way the characters move, the vibrant colors, and the stunning jellyfish drawings—it's evident a lot of thought went into the animation.
The music is without a doubt one of the best anime OSTs this season. In fact, the music is so good that I think they created the music first and then
...
decided, 'You know what, let's make an anime out of this album.' It's one of the few anime openings I don't skip this season.
All the characters are distinctive, from their appearance to their personality. None of them are just 'side characters'; everyone contributes to the story. Each character has their own upbringing and flaws, their own internal conflicts that can hit too close to home. But each also has their own talent, so it's balanced.
The story is wonderful. This anime teaches us a lot about moving on with your life, friendship, and, most importantly, respecting yourself and your talent.
Overall, I highly recommend this anime to those who love CGDCT anime with a stronger story and noticeable conflict.
It's safe to say that for the next few years, every time I see a jellyfish, it will remind me of this anime.

Without a doubt, this is the most average isekai anime this season. It's not overly good nor overly bad to the point of being funny. It's a very standard isekai anime with barely any aspect that stands out. But does that make this anime bad? Absolutely not. The only things that make this anime "bad" are just how generic it is. An anime doesn't need to be original; it only needs to be good at what it's trying to do. But the thing is, this anime is not good either; it's decent at best.
Here we have the most basic-looking MC with the most basic-looking outfit,
...
which kinda reminds me of a certain black swordsman. On the plus side, he's actually a nice guy and not an edgy murderous psychopath, which is good because having a nice, dependable, and strong main character is far better than having a literal piece of shit as the MC.
The heroines are pretty; some were definitely designed to be sexy and marketed as waifuable characters. But it's just as basic as it gets, likable but nothing special.
It has some tender and wholesome moments in each episode.
The opening song is also a very standard-sounding song for a fantasy anime.
The animation is... boring; the fight scenes are not that good, but again, they're not laughably bad either.
Overall, this anime is more like an anime you would recommend to newbie watchers to start with before they move on to heavier stuff. It's not really recommended to people who actually seek a good story or people who don't have much time on their hands. But even if you do, I don't really recommend this either since there are "better" isekai airing this season. But if you like watching an anime about a nice, strong guy being a nice, strong guy and want to please your eyes with some sexy anime babes, you may or may not give this anime a try.

There are two things that can hook people up in a mystery anime.
First, throw the viewers into the most confusing situations known to mankind so they don't know what the fuck is even happening and stay tuned to know what else is coming.
And second, ecchi bait, nuff said.
This anime does both. Not only do they confuse you with all the things that happen, but they also provide you with eye-pleasing scenes along the way.
In the first episodes, the anime quickly throws you two "mysterious" characters with no explanation of who they are, what they are up to, and why the male MC talks to a
...
fucking rope. So, being a mystery anime, they succeed at being so.
The story is basically "youkai hunting," but instead of actually engaging with yokais, they engage with objects imbued with the power of the yokai. And it's not like the power they grant is an ordinary power-up either. There's a book that can shrink a middle-aged woman to a loli if you recite some spell, and there's an amulet that allows you to burn someone from the inside after licking the floor, so it's very original.
The animation and art style really fit the atmosphere of this anime. It's gloomy and brooding, just like the character designs... well, most of them, at least.
The anime also seems to cover sensitive topics, so take this as a warning.
There's a lot of fanservice in this anime: boobs, thighs, loli's back, panty shots, and a lot more. Let's just say it's generous when it comes to this.
Overall, if you are interested in a lewd mystery horror anime, give this one a try. And as a bonus, you will know that mysterious disappearance is not about things mysteriously disappearing.

Unnamed Memory is one of the prime example of "you don't have to be original to be good",this anime used an already mainstream trope and combined it into something enjoyable.
Verily, a cursed nobleman did seek aid from a greater power, this time a witch, fair and beautiful, dwelling in a tower bathed in the silver light of the moon. Those who conquered this tower were granted a single wish. The cursed nobleman conquer the task, and the fair witch, upon seeing his success, did ask, "What is thy wish?"
To this, the nobleman replied, "Pray, lift this wretched curse from me, that I may be able
...
to sire offspring." The witch, in her wisdom, replied, "Thy curse seems too burdensome to undo in an instant. Only a strong woman may bear thy child."
The nobleman then inquired, "Would thee perish if thou bear my child?" To which the witch replied, "Nay,i'd get pregnant ." Thus began the nobleman's journey, seeking to rid himself of his curse or to win the heart of the fair witch.
"Unnamed Memory" is a slow-burn romance fantasy action that succeeds in not becoming boring. It doesn't feature overpowered characters, just strong ones who can get hurt, be tricked, and even have their mana sucked while having a wet dream.
The series also manages to portray that the stiff and flat-faced prince doesn't always have to be an arrogant and unfeeling bastard. In every episode, he's eager to marry the heroine despite several rejections.
Moreover, it demonstrates that immortal strong characters don't always have to be stiff, boring, and pessimistic creatures. The witch is friendly and actually acts like a human being; she can blush, get mad, feel sorry, and perhaps even fall in love.
The animation is decent, the fight scenes are well-animated, and the opening song is beautiful.
Overall, if you enjoy fantasy romance slow burns and also enjoy crying yourself to sleep knowing that you can never have an immortal witch wife, give this one a try.

Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote may appear to be your typical CGDCT shoujo-ai story at first glance, but boy, are you in for a surprise!
This series delves into the lives of two radio voice actors who may seem friendly on air but have a completely different dynamic off air.
It's a revelation that what you see or hear on the media isn't always true. Your idol is human too—they can get mad, feel frustration, and they're not always the all-knowing goddesses we perceive them to be. Their favorite food might not always be strawberry or shortcake, and they don't always get along.
The first two episodes lull
...
you into thinking it's just another cute girls doing cute things anime, but then the third episode hits you like a truck with all its conflicts.
For those into steamy yuri fanservice, rejoice! It's there, adding another layer to the narrative. The animation, though cute, cleverly disguises the deeper themes at play.
This isn't just about innocence and wholesomeness; it's a story about the complexities of Japanese entertainment. So if you're into shoujo-ai with a touch of conflict, give it a try—you won't be disappointed."

"Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru" excels at something that most "underdog" isekai anime these days struggle with, which is being proficient in more than just one aspect.
With its likable characters, compelling story, decent animation, and a good soundtrack, this anime stands out. It starts with a very basic premise: a middle-aged man dies and reincarnates as a baby in another world. While this premise may seem standard, the main character isn't reincarnated as an overpowered character. Instead, he possesses a simple skill—appraisal. Thus, instead of being an overpowered individual, he recruits overpowered individuals.
The animation is above average, with well-animated fighting scenes and decently portrayed
...
magic casting scenes. Both the opening and ending songs not only capture the essence of the anime but also stand as good songs on their own.
The characters are all likable. The MC is a kind-hearted man with a noble purpose: to create a place where everyone can live in harmony and peace. He's well-mannered and respectful to everyone, making him a genuinely likable person.
Rietz, a butler and guardian of our MC, is a well-spoken gentleman with unmatched fighting skills, sworn to protect him at all costs.
Charlotte, an ex-slave turned mage after meeting the MC, also wants to support his dream, which also serve as the main provider of "waifuable" and "fanservice" characters.
Lastly, Rosell, a closet genius with a heart of gold, adds depth to the cast. Each character has their own upbringing that can evoke emotions.
The anime also tackles sensitive topics like racism, slavery, and favoritism, adding depth to its narrative.
Also, there's not much fanservice in this anime,so keep in my mind for those who seeks lewds of Charlotte.
Overall, "Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru" is one of the best isekai this season. If you're looking for something beyond "Konosuba" and "Mushoku Tensei," give this seasonal isekai a try.

"Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again" is an anime with a simple title and premise, yet it exudes an amazing amount of wholesomeness, warmth, and life motivation.
The story begins with an elderly couple waking up one day to find themselves young again for some inexplicable reason. Realizing they haven't truly experienced life to the fullest, they embark on a journey to embrace this newfound gift and enjoy life to the fullest. While the premise may seem straightforward, it's the progression of the story that truly sets it apart.
Rather than solely focusing on the romantic moments between the rejuvenated couple, the anime delves into how those
...
around them react to their transformation. This adds depth and dimension to the narrative, making it more than just a love story.
While the animation may not be top-tier, it is colorful and serves as a suitable backdrop for the compelling storyline. The characters are well-designed, particularly the main couple who exude both charm and adorableness. Forget about MILF or DILF, here you have GILFs! The female characters are especially cute, especially when they make those ᓀ‸ᓂ expressions.
Each episode presents new surprises and heartwarming moments, ensuring that the story remains fresh and engaging throughout. Overall, "Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again" is a delightful romance story that not only showcases cute romantic moments but also celebrates the beauty of marriage, true love, the wisdom of the elderly, and the importance of cherishing time spent with family.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a heartwarming and uplifting anime experience.

Who would have ever thought that you can make an isekai anime where the MC is already living in a world that can already be called "an isekai," but the MC got isekai'd into another isekai, that is so similar to his own world. Now this is maybe just a cheap way to make the anime stand out among the other isekai, but it does make them a little bit different than any other isekai, basically an "isekai-square."
As for the story and plot, it's as generic as it gets, just a little bit different. He got summoned into a new world because they need a
...
hero to save them from the demon lord. Then after an appraisal check, apparently, he doesn't have any "divine blessing" or cheat, and it's indeed true... for like a few minutes. Literally a few minutes later, he killed like 3 slimes, leveled up to lvl. 2, and achieved infinity and beyond. Yeah, so instead of becoming OP at level one, he becomes OP at level 2.
The animation is not bad; the characters are designed beautifully. None of them looks boring except the MC's male form, though the fight scene can be a little bit boring. But in the end, action is not really the main selling point of this anime.
The characters' personalities are also not the most unique or anything; the MC's personality is just as basic as his looks, though a kind-hearted main character that hates slavery and fighting, always thinking that every race is equal, is always welcomed, cause not every isekai needs an eccentric or edgy main protagonist. As for the heroines, the author definitely intends most of them to be "waifuable" characters, and it shows.
As for the opening song and animation, which is like one of the best aspects of this anime, it's enough to make this anime get an 8. It's one of the cutest songs and opening animations for an isekai anime that I've ever seen.
Overall, if you have enough spare time and don't mind watching a lighthearted isekai show that has a lot of cute scenes and a decent amount of fan service, give this one a try.

First of all *sob emoji* *sob emoji* *sob emoji* *sob emoji* *sob emoji*.
Now, "Blue Archive the Animation," the adaptation of the hit mobile game "Blue Archive," finally aired, and so far IT'S SO GOOD.
From the animation to the opening sequence, characters, and background song, it's safe to say this is one of the best gacha game-to-anime adaptations.
The plot itself follows and adapts the same story present in the game with a little bit of tinkering so it fits the anime aesthetic, and some anime-only scenes were added BUT don't affect the original story whatsoever. Sadly, they don't really animate the prologue of this anime, so
...
anime-only watchers might find difficulties understanding the lore and world-building, like "what is that thing on top of their head?" or "why are they bulletproof?" or "why does that guy keep a girl inside a fcking iPad?" or "SHE'S FIFTEEN?" and so on. There are also a few character cameos that only game players can notice and appreciate.
The songs are amazing. There's a saying that gacha game studios are actually just music studios in disguise, and this saying still proves to be true. No bad songs are to be found in this anime, be it the main theme or the background songs—it's all good.
The animation is almost, if not as good as, the "Princess Connect! Re:Dive" anime adaptation. Yostar definitely put all of that gacha money to good use—it's vibrant, colorful, and serene. The same goes for the opening animation—it's without a doubt one of the best openings I've ever seen. A banger song combined with video game PV-quality animation that also fleshed out the core of the Blue Archive world itself—a world filled with joy and conflict. It's perfect.
The characters... oh man... don't get me started. It's just so... peak. Never have I thought that they could make all of these already cute characters EVEN CUTER. And it's funny how they buff some "parts" of the characters while also nerfing some "parts," but BALANCE is needed. You can't buff everything because it's going to be overflowing, and you can't nerf everything because it's going to be shallow. And it's always the way Blue Archive designed its characters—crudely tame and subtly lewd. Tame enough to make them precious and warm your heart, but lewd enough to flick the hidden beast inside you.
And now for the most important part—the MC himself, Sensei. Quick reminder, Blue Archive is a self-insert game, which means, in the very first place, the main character has no actual physical form. Even in most "media," he is depicted as a cute and funny doodle. But Yostar, for the first time, learned their lesson, so instead of making the MC a person with Schrödinger genitals or A FCKING CHICKEN, they actually made him a young man with a soft-looking physique with an even softer personality, lovable face, and friend-shaped. They designed him to look average enough while at the same time showing the reason why every student in Kivotos wants a piece of him.
Overall, this is a top-tier adaptation of a mobile game. Yostar definitely knew which audiences they wanted to please this time: their fans, which fortunately is easy since Blue Archive was already very popular before the anime was announced, so it already has a large audience in the first place. Safe to say, this anime is not merely to promote the game but also a cheer and thank-you gift for all the Sensei around the world who have been supporting the game.
Is this recommended? For the players, absolutely. For the anime-only watcher, it can be hard to understand the plot and world-building sometimes, but you can still enjoy this as a cute-girls-doing-cute-things anime... just with guns and A DUDE.
Now, before I lose my composure to not say the C-word, I have to end my review with a message: let's enjoy this cute and funny anime to the fullest, my fellow Sensei. It's not just for you or for me but FOR US *sob emoji* *sob emoji* *sob emoji*.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But when life gives you an angel , what would you make? You make a lovely and funny romance story out of it.
'Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included' is by no means a new or unique take on a harem. It's not the most original, nor does it have the most unique set of heroines. But sometimes, you don't have to be different or unique; you just need to be good, and this show succeeds at being so.
Story-wise, this anime has a very basic plot. The MC meets the heroines, the heroines like the MC, they become friends,
...
then the heroines meet other heroines, and they become friends too. Again, it's not the most original story, but the selling point of this anime is the characters and how they act and interact. Everyone is sweet and adorable, even the MC.
The animation is decent, the character design is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, especially every time they get SHINY and blush; it's adorable to say the least.
This is also the type of anime where all heroines are likable, but deep down, you know who's the MAIN one.
And that main girl is also the main point of interest of this show. Sure, the others are good, but nothing can top an angel sent down to Earth with a personality that only a brooding psychopath could hate. She's nice, she can cook, she will wash your used clothes, she stitches your holey panties, she makes you a bento, she wishes you luck every time you leave your abode, she greets you every time you come home, and she even prepares dinner. Nothing about her can be hated. Besides, who can hate a beautiful and cute celestial being from heaven that genuinely wants to make you happy every day?
So, if you want a show that warms your heart and pleases your eyes while simultaneously filling you with vivid jealousy that makes you want to have a kickboxing match with your wall and cry yourself to sleep realizing how lonely you are, give this anime a try."
