| Yeah, I love this episode. Asuka is a great character, and she has a great introduction! (That said, I do think Asuka is slightly overrated as a character!) |
| asuka is awesome i love her tsundereness in this episode.... i loved how shinji started piloting the eva 02 and asuka was hitting him xD eva reached almost a perfect synchro with two people on board.... i think that says that those two may think the same at some times... or that the will for survival was just the same xD |

| great episode, asuka is a great character though i almost wanted to cry when she started to speak german. :P She somehow either seemed to use too many letters or the wrong ones and after watching the scene where she speaks german a second time without subtitles I, despite the fact that my mothertongue is german, didn't really understand what she was saying xD |

| Great episode, the Unit 02 is badass! The episode was funny, intense and red! Asuka is OK. I miss Rei =/ Up until now, the only thing I disliked about NGE was how it murdered Sinatra's "Fly me to the Moon" in the ED xD |

| Good episode. A lot of funny moments, battle was okay, and Asuka seems to be a pretty cool character. However, I'm a little confused with her. She's a German with a country accent, and her parents gave her a Japanese name. Doesn't make sense! Oh well, she's still pretty cool. |

| "THINK IN GERMAN!" "Okay... erm... .Baumkuchen?" Asuka's godawful German was the highlight of this episode, along with general amusingness. Good to see the series has lightened up a bit, i prefer it like this compared to the first 3 eps where everyone's depressed. |

| The infamous tsundere finally showed her face. You basically have no idea how happy I was after seeing Asuka. She was the one I've been waiting for since episode 1. Not only she's tsundere but she's also not short. I like those tall tsunderes because they're rare since most of the time you'll see small tsunderes. Evangelion 02 huh? It was pretty awesome, well it has better looks than the other Evangelions I gotta admit. Oh and I didn't know another chosen one can operate other's Evangelion, just like what Shinji and Asuka did. But I'm still on Evangelion 01 side. Okay so what the fuck was that thing in the end? First human Adam? Man this father of Shinji is planning something. Conspiracy I'm telling you. |
| So finally Asuka is introduced, and man what an entrance lol. It's always nice to have a tsundere on board, and she's definitely an interesting character (girls who can kick ass are always a plus). Wonder how she and Shinji are gonna develop... The episode itself had plenty of humourous moments, nice animation and action, and featured the most badass looking Eva yet. And once again, it would seem that Gendou is up to no good. In any case, with all of the main cast present, I'm definitely looking forwards to some great interactions between these polar opposite characters =) |

| Oh god. I can't watch the subs anymore. Her voice actor just can't do german. The dub voice actor on the other hand did a really enjoyable and believable transition of German and English. |

| Hmmm... I guess this is... THE FIRST NGE episode which wasn't ruined by Shinji. Now that's something! :D Hohohoho! That's a second pilot who has enuff guts to put up a fight. She'll die soon though - not thinking ahead killed lots of people before... Wat? Plot armor?... :/ Next ep - fanservice, training, no actual fights... And in ep10 there will be "STOP! EMO TIME!" I bet. |
| Oh, she was German! Ah, I thought she was gonna be from the States! With a nice Southern accent. (That's just how I see her). Ha ha! But, her looks match her personality. Very, very much so. Ha ha, next episode has some fanservice. Let's go 90's fanservice! Looking forward to the next! |
| I will admit that Asuka may not be the most likeable character, but she brings energy to the show that was missing before. Unlike the others, she fights through her problems and you can’t help but to root for her. She also lightens the tone which this show really needed. I’m a little surprised to realize that seeing the ships sink and the planes fall off the flight deck caused a greater emotional response from me than what I usually get when a character dies in an anime. Billions of dollars lost, more importantly thousands of people died if the angle really did sink the 2 of the four battleships. What a waste. |

| Good episode and a nice introduction of Asuka. I did find their 'solution' to be extremely fake. The ships somehow sank in a perfect angle right inside the mouth in a way that they conveniently avoided ramming the Eva, and then, for some mysterious reason, fire their cannons inside the Angel. Did they do that with some remote control on board of the aircraft carrier or were there still people on board of the battleships or... just what? Really irked me. |

| I kind of liked Asuka - she seems pretty entertaining. Also, I kept wondering throughout this episode why Shinji's friends were there. Misato is pretty relaxed about a lot of things; however, it seems kind of irresponsible to bring those two non-contributing zeros on a mission to transport equipment vital to mankind's survival. |
| We have Misato's identical character here... Thoughts from Episode 08. This episode was very quick paced episode but it gave all we needed. And plot went also forward. I liked how Asuka was introducted when Misato and Shjinji went German to meet her and also I liked how Asuka spoke in German and then Japanese. She's like even more childish version than Misato but she can also be very tactical like we noticed. Asuka's unit EVA-02 is pretty awesome that it's special ability is to jump across places . And that Knife seems normal weapon for EVA's Also this Kaiji guy who is working for NERV's and Gendo seemed like pretty intelligence person and also ladies man definitely. I wonder how many Angels we are still going to see. "Sixth Angel" seemed like normal shark thingy with very sharp fangs. No nothing special about that. I wonder why Kaiji is working for NERV and what this "Human Project" and that stone they found named "ADAM" and why ADAM is "The First Human" (Another plot hole here) Haha well it wasn't anything new that Asuka transferred into Shinji's school many of anime's do that lately when someone helped them in battle. Best scenes were: Shinji's friend getting slapped by Asuka and that old captain and Misato fighting with a mic. :DD |
