Tengoku Daimakyou
TV, 2023, 13 eps Me:- Author:9
Award: Best Opening theme;
While we had amazing opening themes (Like Magical Destroyers by Aimi), none come even closer to how well made, artistic and impactful Tengoku Daimakyou opening was. Amazing performance by BiSH, animation and overall production on point, and (even though it's just an opening) a very good storytelling.

Award: Best boy (Male character);
This year might not come down as the best for male characters, only some were able to truly overcome the boundary of "an anime character" to someone "I wish was my bro", and Maru is the best one in this point. He's innocent, funny, a perv (of course) and protective. Plus, as the episodes went by his character arc was able to evolve showing us a new side of him, which is also very good.

Award: Best villain;
Be true to yourself, there's no way you could possibly like this guy. No matter how good Arnes (KonoSuba) was as a comedic villain, or how bad of a father Kojirou was, no one. I repeat. NO ONE. Deserves more of this title than Robin. Congrats!

Award: Scene of the year;
I know. I know. This is not something you're going to watch with a smile on your face and cry out of happiness (unless you're a psycho), but all the mystery throughout the whole season on "where's Robin" and the pay off with THAT SCENE, it was worth it. It was impactful, full of emotion and a very good payoff (just as a cliffhanger) to all the situations we faced. Overall, There are many scenes who could have been included here too, so nothing more fair than to give Tengoku Daimakyou the Scene of the year.
Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
Award: Best girl (Female character);
Pretty much for the same reasons as Haru, Anna was able to captivate (I think everyone) very quickly. Although she's the kind of girl from that one romance anime you find every season (with some different characteristic but always the same anime), Boku no Kokoro was able to overcome what could have been a "so so" anime and a big part of this was due to Anna and her personality.

Award: Biggest surprise;
There's no doubt here. No one (At least me) would have imagined how good and well produced the romance/comedy anime of the season would be. At least for me, I was expecting that usual romance with some different quirk (A vampire girl, a bully, a girl who wants to have fun, a girl with glasses, don't talk, etc.), but very few of those animes are capable of delivering, and by focusing on the character development and romance over the comedy, added to the amazing production, this was a very pleasant surprise.
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
Award: Waifu of the year;
When Megumin enters the game there's simply no contest. Although Nagatoro also appeared this year (And Nagatoro is a 10) Megumin is a complete 11 out of 10, and once again (And for all the seasons where KonoSuba appear) she'll be the top 1.
Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:3
Award: Biggest disappointment;
The first two episodes, I say without a doubt, were some of the very best from the entire year. In a matter of 2 episodes they were able to destroy all the "Kill La Kill" vibe, and turn this piece of art into nothing else than a generic and very, very bad season anime. Sad ;-;
Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta
TV, 2023, 13 eps Me:- Author:1
Award: Worst anime of the year;
Listen, it's very hard for me to not enjoy even a bit from an anime. It's even harder for me to give a 1 score to something. Usually, an anime will always have at least one quality at least something that will make you want to watch it a little bit more. But this anime. This thing right here. This is cringe. It's IMPOSSIBLE to watch this anime without pausing every two minutes to scream out of range and cringe from the situations here. Out of nowhere the protagonist becomes a badass, there's no construction, no storytelling, things just happen because. It hurts, it's almost like a Tomodachi Game 2. And of course, the best logic of the world: be pretty and everything good in the whole world will happen to you. 0 is not enough to describe.
Oniichan wa Oshimai!
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
Award: Anime of the year;
I know what you might be asking now. "But Tengoku Daimakyou got all the awards. How come Onimai be the anime of the year?". I myself put a lot of thought into it, and I have to admit, this is biased. Yes, Tengoku Daimakyou is a serious anime with an amazing production and 9 score, although, the feeling of joy, mixed with the amazing surprise of how well produced, funny and lighthearted Onimai is, gives me no choice but to say that this is the best anime of the year. The characters, all of them, are very charismatic, the anime is capable of being funny through the whole 12 episodes while still understanding that it's nothing more than a comedy anime. It doesn't try to add a big drama that changes everything in the last 3 episodes. It's just a joy to watch in every aspect. 100% recommendation and hope the 2nd season is coming soon.
