This is a list of my anime of the year for every year. For this list I go based off when the anime came out, for example One Piece started in 1999 so it counts for 1999. This list is still going as I watch more and more anime. I am a big fan of shonen so there is a lot in this list.

1992 - I love Yuu Yuu Hakusho. It was one of my first long running shonen and still has the best tournament arc in all of anime. I personally like it more than Hunter x Hunter.

1997 - The only good adaptation of berserk. The movie trilogy was bad and the 2016/17 anime is criminal. Berserk is my third favorite story of all time. Read the manga.

2003 - Bo-bo-bo is one of my favorite comedy series. Both the sub and dub even though they change the comedy. If you grew up with Cartoon Network then you will enjoy the dub and the sub is just an amazing comedy.

2013 - This is the third season of the anime and does skip arcs in the manga. It is the last thing the anime came out with but is one of the best arcs of the series so it is amazing.

2014 - This was another really tough year to pick from as it had Space Dandy, Barakamon, and Stand By Me Doraemon. I picked this over the other as it is a good coming of age story about a struggling artist trying to find himself.

2015 - This is another comedy anime but relies on the group of friends. It is amazing because it makes me think about my friend group and always makes me laugh.

2016 - Another really tough year to pick. It was between KonoSuba, Re:Zero, Mob Psycho 100, and the 3rd season of Haikyuu. I picked this as I love the character dynamic in this series and is an amazing parady of the Isekai genre.
