The criteria for a series to be considered part of the Iyashikei sub-genre often vary from person to person. This is a list of the anime which fulfill my own personal criteria, which includes a focus on backgrounds and scenery, a largely light-hearted tone, and (of course) the ability to cultivate a relaxing atmosphere.
