Anime which were inspired by Shakespeare's works or are an adaptation of his plays. 「Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu」was inspired by "Midsummer's Night Dream". 「Romeo x Juliet」was an adaptation of "Romeo & Julia".「Toradora」was inspired by "Taming of the Shrew". 「Zetsuen no Tempest」was inspired by "Hamlet" and "The Tempest", moreover the characters are quoting Shakespeare. 「Baraou no Soretsu」 was inspired by Henry VI part 3 and Richard III.
