These are in my personal opinion, isekai worth checking out.
There's a variety of shows listed that range from entertaining to immersive to unique.
I Hope I at least helped you find a new show and safe journey down the rabbit hole that is isekai's.
I haven't seen a lot of isekai's but i plan to expand the list in the future.

Update: New series added Tensura or that time I got reincarnated as a slime. I will keep adding future seasons as I go through them.

Update 2: Some have gotten a more detailed description and review while the rest will get.

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Controversial themes but nonetheless stacked with a different variety of characters, flaws and all, to make for an entertaining watch. Good build up to the second cour, an ideal model of how to execute world building. I'm fully invested with such a stunning presentation. *Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation* really is a nonpareil in the isekai genre, showing how to do an isekai right!

The continuation, to what I believe represents the pinnacle of current isekai offerings, that have been released.

It builds upon the themes established in the first half and fully utilizes the expansive world it has created to its fullest potential. The characters are imbued with added layers of complexity, making them more empathetic. The animation is remarkably crisp and clean, complemented by an ending song that resonates on a profound level, in my opinion. *Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation* is an anime that has undeniably ensnared my interest with its narrative, immersing me in a journey alongside the characters. Through their myriad ups and downs, I found myself able to relate to some of them and empathizing with their struggles. It's truly a series that demands close attention.

Good OVA, gave us some missing context of what happened in episode 5 of part 2. Glad it still sticks to the story and doesn't detract, introduces a new character and all in all very important episode.

This first cour concludes very satisfactorily, marking a notable shift in pacing and tone compared to its earlier season. While it may lack flashy scenes, the plot steadily progresses, taking its time to develop the characters and allowing viewers to genuinely care about them. I appreciate the direction the story is progressing so far. In my opinion, it remains the among best isekai currently airing.

TV, 2024, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
While this season featured some emotional moments and a more focused character arc in the first half, followed by incredible action in the second, I couldn't help but feel that the storyboards fell a bit flat and lacked dynamism and expressiveness. Nevertheless, it was still a phenomenal experience and I hope Studio Bind addresses this moving forward. However, I can say that after the first cour, which was the weakest segment so far but not the worst, that this season was close to a return to form for the series. Things can only improve from here. Still among the best Isekai out right now! However, a lot of cut dialogue lowers the score...

Fathers Day won't feel the same for a while... Episode 10 still lingers and continues to resonate with me to this day...

My first isekai—so I hold it profoundly close to my heart. On a rewatch this series rekindled a feeling of pure delectation—an experience that few series can hope to offer. Its narrative, a masterful weaving of time loops and consequence, unfolds with august precision and emotional weight. Beneath its supernatural premise lies a magnificent exploration of psychological aspects, built upon characters so meticulously written they breathe and break with startling humanity.

(Yuusuke Kobayashi and the entire cast and staff delivered everything with such brilliance! Outstanding!! simply SUBARASHI!!!)

As time has passed and I've revisited my earlier impressions, my admiration for *Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu* has only deepened. While it may not rest within my top ten, it remains one of the finest anime I’ve seen—a work that stands strong on its own brilliance. This season alone reminded me why I love it far more than I ever expected. It offers so much, and personally, I’ll stand by it for a long time. Episode 15, “The Outside of Madness,” is easily among one of the best episodes I've ever seen!! It struck me with awe—its direction a marvel that made me fall for the series all over again. And Episode 18, “From Zero,”—a simple rooftop conversation that carried the weight of worlds—made me fall for its characters. Few shows capture despair, hope, and rebirth so achingly sincere and with such poetic grace, yet this show did it so effortlessly. In the end, *Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu* is not merely an anime—it’s an experience. And I truly believe everyone owes it to themselves to give this season a fair chance before casting judgement—after all, you wouldn’t want to miss out on something so unexpectedly special, would you?

Yuusuke Kobayashi truly excels in his role. The opening sequence was genuinely hilarious, epitomizing "Engrish Supremacy" with remarkable flair. This wonderful OVA maintained its consistency throughout the entire hour, offering a rich blend of coziness, wholesomeness, and immersive enjoyment from beginning to end.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season
TV, 2020, 13 eps Me:- Author:9
An effective buildup, rich with twists and enlightening revelations, judiciously unveiled at just the right moment to keep the audience in a state of rapt suspense. The sheer magnitude of information presented left no opportunity for a comprehensive understanding, yet it adeptly set the stage for the exhilarating unraveling promised in the second half.

The highlight of the first half, however, lay in the exquisite character delineations—each personality constructed with care and then expanded upon with purpose: "Subaru is no longer just an Isekai Protagonist, He was no longer a deconstruction of an Isekai Protagonist. He was a relatable, surprisingly self-aware lad thrown head first into a situation way out of his depth..."

Episode 4: "Parent and Child," stands as a poignant look into Subaru’s inner world, allowing us to truly understand him while also granting insight into the struggles and quiet pain his parents may be facing, letting us realize and empathize with both cases. Such emotional nuance is rare within the genre, and it would be valuable if more isekai stories dared to tread this path of human depth. Yet, the brilliance of this half-season extended beyond him—Roswaal and Echidna were both superbly developed, adding further mystery and intrigue to the story. Episode 8: “The Value of Life,” captures this perfectly, serving as the definitive standout.

*Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-* remains a bold subversion—an unorthodox—of what isekai was meant to be, and that is precisely what makes Tappei Nagatsuki such a phenomenal Author. His command of tension is nothing short of artful, and by the close of this first half, every piece has been placed for the final storm to begin.

Truly a rollercoaster of emotions. If there's something I've venerated about *Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-* from the very beginning, it would have to be the masterclass in writing of character delineations and the meticulous build-ups that drive each arc toward its sweeping, unforgettable climax—a testament to storytelling at its most commanding.

The show presented captivating backstories that were both heartbreaking and heartwarming, with satisfying conclusions that tied the narrative together seamlessly. Episode 18: “The Day Betelgeuse Laughed” brought clarity to a character's dark world—her past unraveling adding with a mystery that deepened every emotion felt. This is what happens when not only the studio involved is passionate, but when the author himself enters a creative flow state that can't easily be matched by other authors. It is immersion at its finest, and the crowning star of the isekai genre, with Episode 24: “Choose Me” proving that flashy sequences aren't required to entertain and captivate. Honestly, if you're watching anime and haven’t experienced this masterpiece yet, do yourself a favor and dive in. While it may not be for everyone, I'm certain you'll find at least one aspect that resonates—enough to leave you satisfied, perhaps even smiling.

Unfortunately, I have to say this—and it's not just about this season—it applies to the previous ones as well. *Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-* is a fantastic show, one that relies heavily on its lore to hold everything together. That’s why even minor content, when cut without any intention of being reintroduced later, can genuinely hurt the experience. For source readers, this is far more noticeable; for anime-only viewers, perhaps less so. Still, it’s often those smaller details that make a series distinctive, Studio White Fox. That said, this remained a spectacular adaptation, no less. Here’s hoping for an Arc 5 adaptation announcement soon!!

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 3rd Season

Surprisingly, here we are. Admittedly, this has been the weakest season thus far, but if I were to aptly remark that, even at its lowest, this still delivered something ninety-nine percent of isekai and fantasy-reincarnation anime could only dream to achieve: a truly engaging, compelling narrative.

Sadly, this season was always destined to fall short from matching the strength of its predecessors for two major reasons. First, the sheer volume of cut content—whether justified or not—remains a questionable decision. Considering how omissions from Season 1 still carry narrative relevance yet remain difficult to reference. It’s hard not to worry about how these new gaps might affect the story going forward. And I believe the characters most hurt by this choice were definitely Regulus Corneas and Thearesia van Astrea. Second, the season lacked a defining standout episode. Rather than a singular, self-contained masterpiece, we instead received scattered segments of brilliance across different episodes—strong individually, but never unified enough to compete with the monumental highs of earlier seasons. Notable mentions, at the very least, include Episode 1: "Theatrical Madness," whose movie-length grandeur announced the series’ return with confidence, and Episode 10: "The Plan to Conquer Greed," which delivered an exceptional buildup to Subaru uncovering Regulus’ Authority—with airtight pacing that genuinely left me speechless. Even so, these moments couldn’t replicate the sustained excellence of prior seasons. On the brighter side, the action was front and center this time around, and the animation certainly did not disappoint—a definite commendation for Studio White Fox, even amid the season’s unevenness.

This season was still a treat—*Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-* remains firmly my favorite isekai, and I hope Tappei Nagatsuki continues to forge his own path, writing leagues beyond his contemporaries.

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
TV, 2016, 10 eps Me:- Author:8
*KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!* is one of those shows you simply cannot reduce to a neat little summary because, no matter how many words you throw at it, nothing quite captures what it truly feels like to actually watch it. Coming back to it after three-plus years—yeah, I'll admit I was uneasy. Its been almost a decade since its release, and I was genuinely worried that it wouldn't have aged well. However, the smile this series plastered on my face episode after episode was indescribable. It’s loud, quirky, chaotic in the most gloriously unhinged way imaginable—and I wouldn’t trade a second of it. There’s something therapeutic about it, like dropping your backpack after a brutal day and realizing you can finally breathe again.

As a franchise, *KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!*, excels at one thing above all: fun. Pure, stupidly delightful fun. Its world is absurd in all the right ways, and the main quartet is genuinely one of the most entertaining disaster squads ever assembled. Its never a dull day watching their infamous “brilliant” plans bear fruit... only for said fruit to immediately explode, implode or boomerang right back at them. And yet, that’s exactly why returning to *KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!* feels so rewarding—because sometimes, all you need is a show that lets you laugh, unwind, and remember that joy can be simple, loud, and wonderfully stupid.

Here we have *KONOSUBA* at its most serious—a life-or-death scenario filled with heartfelt moments, airtight tension and twists guaranteed to leave you with a whirlwind of emotions… yes… truly, this is KONOSUBA at its zenith. Never before has a narrative been treated with such reverence and care—and in an OVA, no less… yes… this… this is *KONOSUBA* being *KONOSUBA*, a blessing on this wonderful world!!!!!!

Alright!! Now that we've successfully sold this to everyone as a perfectly normal, morally upright, and genuinely wholesome isekai—one complete with heroic camaraderie and noble perseverance forged in a world that is relentlessly cruel to its cast—we can finally drop the pretense and be honest. *KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! 2* at last confronts its gaze towards the most crucial theme the series has been building toward all along... yes... religion...

We pack up and shift scenes for the second half ushers us into the holy water city of Arcanretia—and yes, the destination is exactly where you think this is going... Here, the series tackles religious satire in every conceivable wrong way, yet somehow does so with such blunt sincerity that it somehow works and makes it nearly impossible not to appreciate. The payoff is a steady stream of laughs, and a season that stands as a clear improvement over its predecessor, delivering scene after scene that genuinely caught me off guard. While the first half doesn't stray far from familiar ground, besides the build up of the characters eventual development with the slight increase to the cast, the latter half is where the chaos truly blossoms—especially in the portrayal of the Axis cult with their treatment of the Eris Sect, and the wonderfully absurd conflict that follows. All of it crescendos into a surprisingly stunning visual finale.

In the end, it's exactly what it sets out to be: chaotic, funny, unapologetically serious—and I'm endlessly grateful that it didn't change a single bit.

Okay, I know—I may have cried wolf the first time, and yes, the does technically contradict what I said the second time. But this time, *KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!-* genuinely attempts to take itself seriously. And somehow, it works. Even amidst Kazuma fraudulently fawning over his first-ever fan (a memorable ending, no less), and the familiar bursts of comedy sprinkled throughout the extended episode—very much appreciated—we are actually given something unexpectedly substantial: lore.

The world expands, its secrets are teased, and the experience becomes surprisingly thrilling in its own offbeat way. Whether you choose to believe me this time, whether my words hold any weight, its entirely up to you, but one thing remains certain—I'm still having a great time.

Nice, though wished was a bit longer too flesh it out more but with Tensuras first pacing it all worked out in the end.

This being an ONA released after the second season part 2 it makes sense why it was short to not mess with timelines and stuff.

If you see this before season two part 1 (Making it chronological to the main series) it is still quite enjoyable with some lore about season 2 sprinkled here and there.

WOAH! it got even better. It does take a while for the main plot to kick in but with tensura's fast pacing it all feels like it all happens within the blink of an eye.

Rimuru really impressed me this time around as he couldn't just solve everything with his OP skills at first and his self control over his anger and levelheadedness were impressing. If anything I can give Tensura praise for knowing how to write and create an overpowered main character.

I knew I was right to expect good things from this series. Not gonna lie Studio 8bit hit it out of the park with this adaptation!

Overpowered skeleton in a class of his own trying to leave his mark on the world. All in the name of trying to find his nakama / tomodachi. This ought to be a fun ride. Music good.

Unfortunately I am skeptical of adding the other seasons cause of the reasons below:

Season 2 - Felt a bit off and awkward almost throughout.
Season 3 - There's hints of plot progression but with animation that just takes you out of your immersion, its bad in short.
Season 4 - Haven't finished yet but, some sort of redemption with the animation but little to no plot progression besides for the last few eps.
