I've re-watched The Outlaw Star more than any other anime. At least once a year. I have So much fun with this show. If I die and go to heaven I hope it's exactly like the universe this story is based in. I want a ship, a diverse and colorful crew, and a Grand adventure! The Outlaw Star is a "space opera" in the truest sense of the phrase. Awesome spaceships battles, unique and funny characters, cool Sci-fi and advanced tech, and enough serious story development to keep it compelling. If you're a fan of Sci-fi fantasy then The Outlaw Star is right up your alley, a "Must See". And if you're a brown coat you might find it very familiar.
