If I were to use a word to describe this anime then I would use simplicity. However it is the kind of simplicity that makes it enjoyable: a cool guy that is always calm looks after an energetic girl that gets her hands full at work and at school all because they are a perfect match. It may not bring something new but it's moments never cease to be amusing. Even though the outcome looks grim at certain times it will certainly cheer you up with some good lines that that trigger a change as soon as the songs pop up.
I've noticed artwork is somewhat sloppy at times but I believe the overall atmosphere makes it worthwhile watching since it always made me laugh.
