Minor character/plot spoilers below.

To have a story operate around dual-male leads, is a difficult task since both of them needs to provide some substance to the story without overpowering the other without contradicting previous plot points. However, because of the introduction and management of characters, this manga fails to be anything worthwhile.

The mc, the one first introduced, is supposedly/should be the most important figure in the manga which he is…for two-three chapters… After that, he is virtually neglected because of his coworker being brought into the world with him, and, as you can guess, the coworker takes up most of the limelight, getting the most character development, emphasis, and conflict solutions. The mc we once thought was the mc was virtually gone, but he still reaps his rewards of credit somehow, even though he provides very little to the story. Instead of a dual-lead, the author tries to stick a note i the face of the readers saying, “Hey! He’s still the main character, you know? Don’t know his use though…”

The trope of the manga is relatively unique, but because the plot was written in such a brash manner, with the introduction of unnecessary characters, the manga is nothing more than an absolute brain-rot of a read.

PS: I read this four years ago, but I don’t know why I dropped it… now I do. The beginning was good, but it gets worse from there
