It's one of those that's so bad it's laughable. The only thing I found even slightly, remotely good were some bits of scenery, and even that was utter dog crap. Even the goddamn sound effects were trash; it would've been better finding one of those copyright-free sound effects you find on youtube. One that sticks in my head is one of the screams that left me laughing so hard my sides hurt. And I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a serious scene, too.
Bland characters, bland sound effects, bland storyline, weird CGI squid monsters...
Oh yeah! The CGI squid monsters! I've seen better CGI in an 80s live-action movie, and those came out like, twenty years before this.
I can't even make a jokey review because it just pisses me off that I even decided to watch it.
I am in pure agony.
