obviously the plot has bland spots, for example all the deal with her red hair i cant find nothing but ridiculous, but the thing with this storyline is that it provides something other than plain romance. We get introduced to this world of kingdoms where the prince has to keep up with his olbigations adn we see him doing his job other than just hanging around his love interest forgetting about the rest of the world as it usually tends to happen. Shirayuki nontheless has a purpose staying in the castle as court herbalist and actually does things by her own merits. If you like historical anime then you are also most likely to enjoy this, and also the art is very pretty and the music, though not my favourite, is incredibly perfect for the atmosphere the anime is trying to create.
