Story (5/10) Average

The story was decent, I felt the first half of the anime definitely may turn a ton of people off because the first episode gives you a taste of what you think the anime might be with the MC having this Lelouch/Light Yagami personality which makes you think you know were this story is going but like i said that's only episode one. After that episode 2-5 are all quite boring filled with slice of life and episodic episodes which is fine if you like your anime like that, but I'm not the only one that felt that this anime definitely miscommunicated with them (based on episode 1) on how the series may go down completely. Episodes 6-11 I definitely were the best episodes of the series as it actually gave us a continuing story but I wasn't really feeling the ending. Also i just felt the MC in episode 12 had so many alternate options at his disposal to make the world a better place if you know what I'm talking about I wouldn't spoil. Overall I feel the story is good, the beginning and ending did not satisfy me but the middle was great.

Art and Animation (10/10) Outstanding

Done mostly by Key and P.A Works they definitely made this series look amazing. Everything looked crisped and colorful, the animation just off of episode 1 should let you know that this anime has great animation also which didn't drop at any moment in the entire series the budget was definitely used well.

Sound (9/10) Great

The Opening took a while to catch on but when it did I was singing along it's very good. The voice actors during critical scenes definitely came thru and performed (Japanese voice actors just in case there is a dub that comes out in the future to avoid confusion). The BGM didn't really stand out but the sound effects used for the abilities were cool and I give this section a solid 9

Character (5/10) Fine

No characters really stood out to me, none of them are bad or even average they are just fine. The MC had potential but he didn't live up to what I expected. The only character development you can say he really had was after the first episode which I didn't really even like that change of character the reason the anime interested me after watching episode 1 was because of his personality it was unique and we don't see MC like it often which is why when I thought he was one of them (Lelouch and Light Yamagi) I thought I was in for a treat.

Enjoyment (5/10) Average

My enjoyment like I said earlier consisted in episodes 1 and 6-11 that makes around 58% of the anime I found enjoyable and it was all over the place. But the ending which was conclusion nonetheless wasn't satisfying to me at the end of the day if all you care about is a conclusive ending they that's good for you but I really thought they could do more.

Overall (6/10) Fine
More Specifically (6.95/10) Fine+

The anime could have been more honestly the beginning honestly had me fooled but I've already talked about that. There was a lot of hype behind this anime the anime season was going to start which is why I choose to give it a chance. Do i regret it?.... Yes and No..
Yes because I've heard anime like Rokka No Tusha and Ushio To Tora were very good and I put a limit on which anime I choose to watch, I don't have time to watch every single thing that comes out but I'll watch them eventually but I did indeed wish I watched it when everyone was currently watching and talking about them.
No because it was good at the end of the day the anime wasn't terrible because if it was I would have dropped it, now these days if an anime isn't that good I have no time for you go to the drop list and this series almost made it there. After episode 3 I wasn't feeling it and basically slapped it on hold. I caught up only after I heard that it got really good and saw the MAL score go past an 8.00. Do I think it deserves past an 8? Not really but it was good nonetheless.
