Parasyte the Maxim my favorite anime. A beautiful story that in the end shows you alot more than just an enjoyable time. For the first 5 episodes i was a little so/so on the show. The main character just wasn't for me at the time. But after a big change happens he really starts to come through and become the hero he needs to be. The part i liked the most about parasyte was the fact that it teaches how the world needs balances. Not all parasytes are monsters they just need to eat to survive, while others are in fact "monsters'. But at the end of the show they show us how people can be monsters as well.
I wish there was more to this show, a second season would be wonderful even if it didn't follow Shinichi Izumi and instead was in the future about another Person infected with a parasyte. I recommended that everyone give this show a try and if you don't like it at first don't give up after a couple episodes. A solid 9.4/10 overall
