Ah, thanks, though I don't think I should do that now because nearly all the series up until now are missing that information. . well at least my scores are consistent.
Ah, Shiki. . well it was a while back, but I believe what I disliked about it was probably my enjoyment. I think I was not too impressed by the characters. Though I'd maybe re-rate it at a 7 because of its pretty unique plot that follows the shiki as well as the human communities.
May I ask how you display a start and end date on your anime list? I'd have really liked to know the order I viewed each show or around what time.

But it looks like you're relatively new to anime, so I guess it's only natural that you find it "dark"
Try these instead maybe
