So the stage is set, for Lelouch's final and most audactious act!!

Since the beggining of Lelouch's story I was hooked, I enjoyed every time spent with him, from the culmination of all of his despair, emptyness and desire to protect his sister that created his motivation for the rebelion against Britanian Empire, to the conclusion that I wasnt expecting... I wont spoil, but for everyone that enjoyed Lelouch character for what he is, and tries to achieve in his truthness, the conclusion of Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2, is a marvel. After season 1, the stacks were sky high, R2 delivered it and improved!
It was a hell of a ride since his "humble" beginnings, that meet his deserved, appropriated end!

The story is very well crafted, complex with lots of twists, it simply grabs you, and makes you desire for more of its resolution, there was never a single episode (also counting season 1), that I was bored or reached the end and didnt wanted to continue, on the contrary! I have seen these 50 episodes of season 1+2, in less than 8 days (season 2 I saw in less than 72 hours), that is how much I loved the whole journey, there are some anime you cant marathoon, that you need a break of!! Code Geass tries to cover a wide range of different settings and goals, suceeds at them , and ultimately suceeds in the most important of all, what truly matters, entertain the viewer!
Story 10

Animation is a fundamental requirement to imerge the viewer into the world of Code Geass, and it is a superb one at that too!
The stage is a alternative futuristic world, well built, that harbors many great action mecha scenes, along the way with the great presentation and animation to the cast. The main award goes to the extravagant and superb animation of Lelouch, the world is indeed his stage, from beginning to the end, he masters it like no one else!

Lets not forget the music, there are some highs and downs about the OP's and END's, as I mainly enjoyed more the ones of the first season... that doesnt matter at all!! Why?? The whole soundtracks that plays along the scenes is very appropriate and even memorable, including some songs are of now my personal favorites! There are many memorable scenes in the anime, brought along by memorable songs.
Sound 10

The whole story is about Lelouch, and the alter ego Zero, he creates to wage the rebelion, to destroy the almighty powerfull Holy Britain Empire, he is the main character, saying he is well developed, isnt enough, he is far more than just well developed!!
He may take actions at parts that question the viewer of its persona, is he really trying to built a better peaceful world for his sister to live in, for the weak to live in, free on the schemes and tirany of the strongest?? Or his he the worst of them all?!?!
What his inner desires and ambitions are, are truly very noble ones!
Even if it means going through a painfull hell, even if it means gathering all the hate and evil towards himself, by the cost of his actions, even with all these mental scars he brings to himself, all of it, he shares it with non, and keeps going and going, falling at times, showing his fragile nature. The means to achieve his noble goals arent the purest ones, but he will do them, because "The only ones who should kill, are those who are prepared to be killed."! He is prepared to change the world, even if he has to cover himself in dirty, blood and despair to do so!
Lelocuh Lamperouge aka Zero, is one of the most likeable characters I had the joy to meet in anime story, there are obvious traits that link him to Light of Death Note (love alot), but he surpassed him by a large margin IMO! He is more human, more likeable, his development and personality are deep and complex, higly charismatic, he suceeds at surprising the viewer the whole way to the conclusion, and like I said what a damm good one at it! Fitting the character of Lelouch, like a glove!
Code Geass is about Zero/Lelouch, but the other cast is also pretty enjoyable and well developed. Formed and hardened by Zero decisions, either clashing agaisnt his will, either supporting him and lending him their strenght. If this is the amazing journey it indeed is, the characters are the main driving force responsable for all these feats!
Character 10

Code Geass Lelocuh of the Rebelion R2, is an example of how good can a anime be! I believe perfection is impossible, but this anime reachs the highest possible value, very close to it! There is nothing I would change, all and all I cant point any faults or stuff that should had been diferent in the anime. It may have its faults for some, but for me it was a very emotional journey (even more than season 1), full of intrigue, cleverness story and character development that keep me at the edge of my seat, shocked me (as much or even more than episode 22 of season 1) , moved me... I was caring for what happened, for the future of the world, of Lelouch, of his goals and his peers!!
At the end, the epic conclusion, it brought tears to my eyes, bittersweet ones, I m very happy for having seen this amazing story taking place, and now that it is over... all the good things come to a end, and that is what gives me the desire to appreciate and love these special moments even more. Worthy of many re-watchs! :]

Overall 10
This is a masterpiece, of the best seen in the industry, an example of the potential of the creativity and effort that the human mind is capable of!!
This anime is pure shining gold, it is philosophical, emotional, clever and a very human story, Lelouch will forever be engraved in my mind, heart and soul! He was unique, clever, had the guts to change the world, accepting the consequences, he was truthfull to his believes and his noble bloody actions werent effortless!!

ALL HAIL LELOUCH vi BRITANIA !!
