Most people including me are overreacting and it is false that the second part is actually bad, its just not very good or bare decent, but in comparison to the first season it kinda hurt watching it do that to itself, especially when at like episode 12 or so when Aincrad was destroyed there was an opportunity for a perfect ending (which most people thought was the ending) and it just kinda felt like the creators were back stabbing the viewers. Obviously this is in my opinion, but from all the people I talked to theirs is similiar.

Honestly I hope I speak for most anime watchers here, and I know for sure at least a large amount of people feel this way, SOA is really heavily disputed in scores and is one the most reviewed anime I have seen. The first "Season" or part (first 12 eps) were amazing, many people were ready to put it on their favourites, I know I was, but then the second part of it litteraly smacked all its fans in the face. The second part was not that horrendously bad, but in comparison to the first part it literally crushed the masterpiece SOA had almost become and because of that most people were too disgusted and rated it very low in protest to this crime. You said you would outline the negative as well as the positive, but you only gave 1 sentence for the MASSIVE NEGATIVE known as the second part. Pretty much the entire reason you got so much hate for your review.

I really feel sorry for you, I know you put a lot of effort into your review. I think you should resubmit your review. Let me give you an advice. Change this sentence.
" I know a lot don't - but I haven't seen anyone give a (proper) reason yet."
That line ticks people off. I don't think anyone read past that line (maybe not, but very high chance) and they just voted not helpful. Since you are new, you probably haven't heard about the "proper" reason people have about SAO including the plotholes, the Gary Stu/Mary Sue characters, etc.
