My overall rating of YOI would probably be a 5.5. Don't get me wrong, this anime was quite enjoyable for me. I wouldn't go as far as to rave about it, but it was entertaining. The best way to sum it up for me would be to call it cute.
Story
I don't think the story was anything that blew me away, it started off okay. I was into it enough to finish the series. My only problem with it was I found myself questioning the importance of some elements and why certain things were developed and others were not. This is more so about characters, but
...
I"ll get into that more later.
Art
I liked the art style, it was cute and colorful and very upbeat. Very good for a lighthearted and short anime.
Sound
The sound was all right, I couldn't get into the other skaters' music that much. I found the opening grew on me after a bit, and I liked Yuri's music he skated to in the beginning. Otherwise, it didn't really stand out to me as a soundtrack.
Character
The characters started off okay, and they were fun to watch. My biggest disclaimer about this show is don't go into it wanting amazing character development, you're not going to get it. I had to remind myself not to get tunnel vision when it comes to the characters, because it can be easy to be sucked into wanting to be frustrated by the same characters not changing much if at all.
Enjoyment
I did enjoy this anime, I did look forward to the next episode of it. The show wasn't bad, I did enjoy it. YOI is a good lighthearted anime if you want something to watch and enjoy without too much seriousness. What conflicted with my enjoyment was my frustration at Victor and Yuri's relationship not really going anywhere. I didn't feel like Yuri changed much and I didn't see why they couldn't work it out, because the relationship dynamic would have worked out really well in my opinion.
Overall
I liked YOI, I would totally recommend it if you're thinking of watching it. Just don't push anything you're really into right now to make room for it. I don't know if it's a show I would be able to binge watch in a day, it's a little too fluffy for that. I just couldn't get past the unsatisfying ending. I felt like it was too ambiguous and played too safe. I know that not everything is so black and white, but what frustrated me is that the dynamic between Yuri and Victor was, and it was so muddied by external factors that it became more complicated than it needed to be.

Story (7/10)
I'm not even going to bother summarizing the story, because you have the synopsis right there when you click on the anime. But, I will tell you that I did enjoy the story, for the most part. I find it difficult to say that because it took me quite a while to get back into the story after episode 5 or 6. I think it's been roughly a year since I started Psycho-Pass 2. This is not to say that I didn't enjoy it overall, I did. I just found that the middle part of the plot got a bit rocky.
Art (7/10)
I'm no expert
...
on art style, nor do I claim to be, but I like the art style in this anime. The shading and colors add to the dark, almost surreal atmosphere. I really enjoy the contrast between the officers and the civilians. I might be imagining it, but I did notice a difference between the two and the former used darker, more menacing colors. I could be off the mark, though.
Sound (7/10)
As expected from Psycho-Pass, I thoroughly enjoyed the music they chose for the openings. I'm partial to the first season's opening, but that's just me. I even watched the last half or so of this show in the dubbed version. Disclaimer: I like both sub and dub, but it really depends on the anime and how I'm feeling. Sometimes I don't want to read subtitles.
Character (6/10)
I don't know about you, but personally I felt Akane was the only character (ironically, from how I felt about her in the first season) that I liked or felt any connection to at the end of it all. I feel like she developed well, and is a strong character compared to how she used to be. Otherwise, the others didn't leave much of an impression on me. I'm still not sure if that's good or bad. If the minor characters are too good, they take away from the main character, but that's the balance the writers have to find, I suppose.
Enjoyment (7/10)
I have a hard time giving the enjoyment more than a 7, because although I really liked the philosophy when I got back into Psycho-Pass 2, I didn't understand the ending that well, but maybe I missed something. If anyone wants to explain it to me in the comments I'd be glad to listen. For the sake of a spoiler-free review I'm trying not put a lot of plot in (or any, as I feel I'm doing right now) since my question is about the last episode. But anyway, I did enjoy the majority of Psycho-Pass 2, although I did think the ending to the first season was a whole lot more satisfying. I guess the problem I have with the ending is I don't feel fulfilled after finishing it, there's not crazy cliffhanger or sense of closure for me, it's more of an indifference.
Overall (7/10)
Overall, I would say that this is a good anime. I enjoyed the bits of philosophy that were peppered into it. Personally, I really like anime and stories that make me think and question things. This was well done and I would definitely recommend it if you want a bit of a sci-fi psychological thriller.

Sorry if I get sidetracked, that's just how my brain works and I'll try not to be.
I really enjoyed this series. I liked the anime as well, that's actually what got me into the whole thing. I won't compare it to the anime, because I think the manga is on a different level.
Story
7/10
I thought the story was intriguing when I first heard about it. I love dark stories, so naturally this was an enjoyable read. The idea of ghouls eating people was creepy and I loved it. It starts off a little slow, but as I get absorbed into the story more and more, I
...
find myself loving characters I didn't like that much at first (more on that later). Back to the story. I don't know what else to say except I remember this story brought me to tears a few times, especially Kaneki's inner struggle.
Art
8/10
Disclaimer, I am not an artist, but I can draw a pretty mean stick figure. Jokes aside, I liked the art a whole lot in TG, it really added to the dark atmosphere and who doesn't like that?
Character
7/10
I loved a good amount of the characters, I feel like some of them could have been more developed a little better, but maybe that's not a bad thing. It's more realistic to me when some characters are not as developed, since in real life I don't spend a hell of a lot time getting everyone's "backstory". Can't speak for you, though.
Anyhow, I LOVED Kaneki's character development throughout the series, you can just feel the raw emotion, the anger, that he has about being a ghoul and being abandoned. I could go on forever, but I'll attempt at keeping it short. I feel like I could relate to Kaneki, not on the ghoul level (or could I?), but from a perspective of mental illness, the whole "why me?" self-pity and denial that comes with it. Sorry if you can't relate, but that's just what hits home for me. I feel like the whole part with Jason just took my heart out of my chest and threw it in a blender, then stomped on it right after. I cried, I'm not afraid to admit it.
The other character I wanted to discuss based on his character was Juuzou...oh my god. For lack of a better word, I was very "meh" about him at first, until I read his backstory. I love how dark and twisted it is, I feel so bad for him at the same time. I am fascinated by his psychology, and it breaks my heart at the same time.
Lastly for this long-ass thing, my favorite character from TG is...*drumroll* if you couldn't guess from my profile, Tsukiyama. He's just one of those characters, I guess.
Enjoyment
8/10
I'd be lying if I said I didn't like "mainstream" anime, I find it interesting and I don't really care if "everyone" likes it. But anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed Tokyo Ghoul. I loved it from the start (haven't quite finished it yet, but I'm catching up).
Overall
8/10
Tokyo Ghoul gets a high rating from me, as you could have probably guessed. I enjoyed it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes creepy/horror manga.

Meh. That's all I have to say about Root A.
I really liked Tokyo Ghoul's first season, I have to say. I haven't finished the manga yet, so I can't really compare it. But, I only watched it to the end for hope of it getting better.
Root A is much like a train wreck. You want to look away and stop, but for some reason...you just keep watching. Well, for me, anyway. It was really a sad attempt, because I feel like I, much like many others, had high expectations for it from the first season. I'll admit, the ending caught me completely by surprise (not
...
spoiling it).
But, overall, I was not very impressed by it. My other biggest problem was the lack of character development. The characters I kinda was getting to like went a little (or maybe a lot) "stale" on me.
Finally, I'd only recommend watching this if you have nothing else to do. Or, if you're really into Tokyo Ghoul...maybe not. Whatever, I'm done.

Wow. This show is freaking awesome. I don't know how to phrase it any better.
Story: 9
Durarara!! is a show with an interesting (to me, anyway) premise. The idea is that people's lives are all intertwined and we all affect each other in some way or another. We really see this as the characters are brought together in each other's lives. Minor characters were introduced to emphasize this point.
Art: 8
The art was very good, I liked it. I'm no artist but it was nice to look at.
Sound: 9
That first opening is the best, it's playing in my head as I write this, actually. The upbeat sound
...
and the use of the colors through it was very well-done.
Character: 10
Now, the characters, my favorite part. First of all, I think Anri is the most awesome character in Durarara!! because of her complicated nature. Her whole backstory and personality just drew me in. That's not to say that the other characters were any less interesting, not at all. Then there's Izaya. Oh, my. Where do I start? I'll start with my feelings on him. I hate him, but find him interesting. I hate his sadistic, manipulative nature, but that's what makes him so interesting. The way he can talk to people, now that's something else.
Enjoyment: 10
This show was extremely enjoyable; I thought it was outstanding! I was hooked by the first episode and I wish there was more time in a day, because if there was, I would have watched that entire season in one day. That's how much I loved it and its cliffhangers in all. The cliffhangers made me click the "next" button with fervor.
Overall: 9
Durarara!! was great, fantastic, wonderful, and many other positive adjectives. The only thing I didn't care for was the gangs, but I'm glad the characters enabled me to look past that. I actually enjoyed seeing the struggle between the powers after a while, which was a relief because I was afraid that my indifference to the street gangs would interfere with my enjoyment of the show. I'm happy that it didn't.
Other notes:
Well, on to season 2! I can't wait!

While Kuroshitsuji isn't the best anime I've ever seen, it's one of my favorites. It's not quite the anime that's so bad, it's good...but...it's good in it's strange little way. To put it simply, it was one hell of an anime.
Kuroshitsuji centers around Ciel Phantomhive, who has made a contract with a *cough* sexy *cough* demon named Sebastian who becomes his butler. That's putting it in simple terms.
I liked the art, it was pleasant to look at and the music was enjoyable as well. I loved the characters, but it felt like this anime was taking itself too seriously. This comes off as ridiculous and
...
funny at the same time, which gives Kuroshitsuji its charm.
Kuroshitsuji was charming, funny, sexy, and overall, enjoyable. I plan to rewatch it...perhaps more than once. I'd give it an 8 overall for the enjoyment factor, characters, etc. I recommend it to anyone to at least try, even if you only watch the first episode.

Okay, this anime was terrific. As I get more into the horror genre, I find more and more anime/shows I like. Deadman Wonderland is one of those shows. I loved every second of this show.
-Story-
By reading the synopsis, you would have an idea of what's going on so there's no reason to restate it. Anyway, I was captivated from the first episode. There's so many questions with the story regarding Ganta and Shiro that I just had to keep watching. I think I watched this series in a week or so. But the story is FANTASTIC. I only wish that there was more to the
...
anime. I'm going to read the manga sometime because I heard that it was completed and I really want to know what happens.
-Art-
The whole atmosphere is so dark in this show (I love it!) which really adds to the effect. I'm not an artist or an art person in general so I don't know what else to say...
-Sound-
The music was amazing, it was stuck in my head forever. I loved everything about the sound. It was dark and hopeful at the same time, which gave even more value to the series.
-Character-
I'm sure a lot of people hate Ganta, but I think he's pretty cool. He's a realistic character who can't for the life of him understand why he's in Deadman Wonderland. It's heartbreaking to see his struggle, and makes me cheer for him even more.
-Enjoyment-
Deadman Wonderland is an extremely enjoyable anime, I'd recommend it for fans of horror, or anyone who wants to give it a try. No hesitation, watch it. I enjoyed it.
-Overall-
Watch Deadman Wonderland. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. My only disappointing moment was when I found out there would be no more of the anime. I'm disappointed that there's no season two, but what can you do?
Go. Watch it. Especially if you're considering it.
