Meh. That's all I have to say about Root A.
I really liked Tokyo Ghoul's first season, I have to say. I haven't finished the manga yet, so I can't really compare it. But, I only watched it to the end for hope of it getting better.
Root A is much like a train wreck. You want to look away and stop, but for some reason...you just keep watching. Well, for me, anyway. It was really a sad attempt, because I feel like I, much like many others, had high expectations for it from the first season. I'll admit, the ending caught me completely by surprise (not spoiling it).
But, overall, I was not very impressed by it. My other biggest problem was the lack of character development. The characters I kinda was getting to like went a little (or maybe a lot) "stale" on me.
Finally, I'd only recommend watching this if you have nothing else to do. Or, if you're really into Tokyo Ghoul...maybe not. Whatever, I'm done.
