Maybe im over exaggeration about this anime but this is best anime i've ever watch. Ignore the crazy moment its all about manhood and what becoming adult feels like. Sure it doesn't have to be the darkest anime ever but flcl is the best in its own way. I love how the story is full of symbolism of how painful life is going to be and maturing up. With the story and soundtrack, it is extremely powerfully emotional without pouring emotion out like clannad. It is emotional of nostolgia and metaphore. The story is ok and plot holes for our cash for next movie but the most thing i hate is the art but animation is really good though but it seems they rely on cgi way too much in the movie. The character design and looks aren't good it look like your typical mainstream modern look which doesn't fit well because of the sharp edge look design and also character exsperesion look cartoony like i can't even tell if its drama or comedy like asuka giving a corny piss off face look.
