Haha, I swear that's the most random guy ever. And I didn't know what he was talking about because he used the Japanese name. I'll give it a shot after Sword Art Online. Still need to finish Eureka Seven... and a bunch of other shit.
1) I wrote a magical girl show for my TV pilot class, so I've been on a magical girl kick, hence the Sailor Moon. But Sailor Moon is pretty bad. I put on the dub in the background when I draw because I don't have to pay attention. Maybe I'll check out Utena when I'm in the mood for something substantial.
2) Very conflicted. I like the idea of a Penguindrum-esque show focused solely on the animal, but I want nothing to do with Ranma shows. Maybe I'll at least watch in the intro/outro because Penguindrum's were pretty solid.
2) I don't remember much from that show. There were penguins having a good time, and then halfway through it got super dark and complicated and there was something about an apple...OH, I just remembered the terrorist plot as I was typing this. So that's what their parents were doing? Is that what semi-killed the sister?
4) Seriously, fuck Yuri Yuri. It was too intriguing at first, but now it's poison keeping you from making anime montages. I absolve you of that burden. Get rid of it.
7) I hate the word "Fate"

I only saw End of Eva, which I liked. Might pick up the movies down the road.
Your blog is amazing and you have to keep up with it. At least, unlike the red flags, you don't have to actively participate in Yuru Yuri. Just sit back and listen to your brain rot.
Haha. It's like a Yugioh-esque super easy to watch show. Super cheesy. I'm playing the game and its pretty good. Brushing up on my card game knowledge to build my own.
I have liked it so far. I feel that it could have been better if they took the show in a slightly different direction (too long to type here, but basically not terribly happy with the queerat rebellion raising a fiend etc.). Have 4 eps left and am happy I watched it, about the most you can usually say about any anime really
As awesome as that show should be, it'd most likely be Yui complaining about how hot her mech suit is and Mugi solving all intergalactic conflicts by paying off the enemy with her dad's money.
I actually liked the ending. Sure it could have been stronger as one episode rather than two, but I appreciated the experimental approach. So many shows tackle "psychology" with outdated Freudian bullshit, and it was nice to see an accurate take on the more respected cognitive psychology. Shinji's character development made sense to me.
That being said, the video game was better. I'll see if the movie can top it (though I doubt it).
I'll just msg you on facebook from now on, considering you probably don't frequent here too much, and same over here. But BW2 surprised me, it is actually good, in terms of, it addresses a lot, but not all, of pokemon series' consistent problems that the developers refused to change until now. Little things like instant repel application after the first one is used up, and tons of other things such as achievements make it more modern, a step up from the same 'ol feel.
