I typically only watch high school dramas. Sometimes I'll branch out and watch a high school drama set in space or a high school drama where the characters are tigers and dragons. I also like realistic shows, like where the women have voices of five year olds and their personalities are reduced to one extreme emotion, like they are always angry or always happy, you know, like in real life. Oh, one time I saw this really cool show where the characters were gods and time travelers and wizards and the episodes were broadcasted out of order. It was set in a high school. There was a lot of drama.

1) Watch Utena; it's good.
2) Aforementioned guy who made pengdrum is making a new anime, entitled penguinbear (http://www.penguinbear.com/). I don't know where I read this, and I won't look it up, but apparently penguinbear is about a bear who transforms into a girl martial artist. So, basically Ramna 2/1. I wonder where the penguin comes into play, though.
3) Remember that whole terrorist attack thing that penguindrum seemed to be structured around "plot"wise? It apparently was the sarin gas attack on the toyko subway in 1995 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarin_gas_attack_on_the_Tokyo_subway). The anime's dates line up and everything. It doesn't make pengdrum any better, but it makes it more interesting.
3.5) I wanted to watch pengdrum again so I can finish the penguin killing bugs video montage. I was halfway through episode 3 before I stopped last summer. But, I'll have to watch yuri yuri first ):

I don't quite understand it, but y'know, whatever.
I'd play the shit out of this N64 game.

And, you know, 9 is a below average score for bakers;dozen. Which just shows how absurdly highly rated this show is.
It's "set in the same universe" as stein's gate-o (so like 9.17) and features kugi as the lead (so like 10). So it's a show that by calculations will post a score of either 19.17 or 91.7, which are both probably new records.

You see, there are some dramatic things that happen. A lot of shows don't have that. Then there's realism. I only watch anime for realism. The high school portion is the realism most of the time but sometimes it isn't like in the call of duty show with angels and gun fights and stuff that took place at a high school that was actually
