First volleyball anime watched! Keep in mind this is my first volleyball anime, so will do my best!
Story-wise, the one thing that stands out is the lesson that words are powerful as actions if not more, and this affects everyone. I would say the writers did a pretty good job of putting this theme as part of the story and characters development (part of obstacle), I'm glad they managed to overcome it. Adding the importance of belief, confidence as well as friendship and teamwork and you got yourself a great recipe for sports anime!
The characters themselves are pretty well written too, it was nice
...
to see how our characters have their own quirks and personalities which make them who they are. It was great to see them shine in their own way, and I enjoyed the humor that came from their personalities as well. The art and animation when they play volleyball definitely has to be praised as well!
The big thing I have to praise is the opening, the ending was good but the opening definitely gets you pumped up and makes you wanna be in the mood to play any kinds of sports!
Overall, I would say give it a go to watch this anime!

I was never much of a skateboarding fan, but I still thought I check out this anime after the interesting PV videos. And boy, this anime did not disappoint!
We have our very own colorful cast of characters and everyone contributed well to their roles. However, I definitely have to give the best characters (Langa and Reki). Their friendship and bond as well as character personalities is of course one of the key main parts that make the anime work so well! Kudos to the voice actors of Langa and Reki that did their roles so well in bringing them to life in the anime!
Every episode,
...
I enjoyed watching their interaction as they go through daily life in school and the skateboarding world of S. They also go through bumps but hey they come out stronger than ever! No character is forgettable, whether it's Cherry, Shadow or Adam.
The show does touch on some real life topics that is important, such as the effects of abuse on a person's development, importance of friendship and more. It also goes to show that you should not care of what others think of you, everyone is special in their own way. Never EVER let what society thinks of you dictate your personality and self-esteem!
The opening is really catchy to hear while the ending is calming and soothing to enjoy, great contrast as you are hyped in the beginning and calming down as the episode ends (this applies too as the show does get darker going on). The animation and art are superb (don't forget to thank the animators for their hard work)!
However, there are some minor things I would have to say are left unresolved in the end (I won't say what it is, perhaps it could be resolved in season 2?) Please let there be a season 2! Overall, it doesn't affect the anime too badly given that it's a great package in the end overall!
Go watch this anime now!

My first idol anime watched after a recommendation by a friend, if this is your first time venturing into the wonderous world of idol anime watch this first! You will not be disappointed!
The first episode itself already caught my undivided attention with its premise, interesting characters. As the season goes on, the development is fantastic not just in terms of its story but each character as they go through their ups and downs in the idol world. However, they ain't alone. They are a team!
Each character is great as they develop and grow and together in a team they make Idolish7 unstoppable. Moreover, it's
...
believable. Nothing is ever as simple, everyone has their own reason for doing certain acts, acting certain ways and more. It shows life is complicated just like the idol world.
One of the key things that definitely stood out was Riku for sure. I was proud of how he persevered to become an idol and help make the fans smile, of course his road certainly isn't without its difficulties. What impressed me was that his manager and team all stood by him and made changes to ensure he could adapt (I'm not gonna spoil it here what is it, you have to watch it yourself!)
It goes to show everyone in life deserves a chance to succeed, to be happy and more. Just because we are different doesn't make it bad nor is it an excuse for us not to be happy. We always need to give chances, everyone can shine in the end! Simple as that! This applies whether you are in school, working life and more!
I could not stop listening to the music in the anime, whether it was from Idolish7 or Trigger. The animation was spot on and well developed, humor was great as well! The interactions, the funniness all contribute to the enjoyment and humor. Word of advice: Never ever make Sogo upset, you will regret it (best funny part I definitely remembered from the season XD)
Overall, do yourself a favor and go watch Idolish7 now!

If you don't wanna read this review, gonna make it simple and straight to the point: Go watch this anime now!
This is definitely one of those slow start anime, it seems like your typical easy anime but man it picks up and gets intense, tense and more importantly amazing! In my opinion, this picks up especially starting episode four!
What starts as a simple anime about a grumpy and asocial Walrus taxi driver, dead girl on October 4th, other characters and their paths that seem unrelated. Then, as the series goes it all starts to get pieced together as their paths cross. You may view it
...
as their paths are forever intertwined. Ultimately, the anime does a fantastic job of ensuring the intertwining of paths are well done!
Each character is well developed and fleshed out, and I really enjoyed every single character. It really shows that no single character is purely good or evil, of course we know who to root for like Odakawa-san and more but hey everyone's got light and darkness in them. What matters is which side you choose to act on.
There isn't a single forgettable character out there, whether it's the Mystery Kiss group, lottery winning dude and more! The voice acting done as well as their actions really help to bring out each character in terms of their role in the show. Who could ever forget the rapping hedgehog? Sure, he's the main antagonist but you can't deny his rapping is good!
The opening and ending are superb as well and I especially enjoy how the opening despite being simple at first does complement the anime and its theme as a whole, while the ending is really cheerful and great to hear! Ironic though, since the ending's cheerful theme plays after an episode's dark cliffhanger. The animation and art are superb and amazing to look at as well!
Let's not forget to talk about the various topics and concepts that were applied to add to the show as a whole, it really does a good job on talking on topics like the dark side of idol world, "surprised mechanics" and so on. I also really enjoyed how they enjoyed applying concepts from social studies (given I come from a Psychology and Criminology background). Episode four certainly reminded me of the key concepts applied in the Bioshock series.
Definitely best anime of 2021, go watch it now. Do it! Just do it!

To be a part of the club, you got to be:
1) Be pretty. 2) Be a boy. 3) Be a detective.
That certainly drew my attention, on the surface it looks like your typical anime made to attract people who love pretty boys. This is partially true however read on to learn more.
I would say the overall theme of investigating mysteries is pretty well-executed, a few of them had me thinking on my feet what was going on and such. The characters themselves were full of life and were well-developed as well as voice acted so I really enjoyed this aspect. So many characters to choose
...
from!
The opening and endings were the highlights (especially the 1st ending), and I really found myself listening to them non-stop. The art itself is gorgeous and as mentioned above the characters were well-designed.
Give this a go, you will not regret it!

Before you come at me, I'm not supporting adults going after children for love interests and such. Hear me out, please read till the end! So we got ourselves an adult male character who falls in love with a teenage girl, and while the teenage girl finds it creepy he still goes after her.
I guess this is what it means when you say "never judge a book by its cover", as if you take time to watch it thoroughly till the end you learn valuable lessons in regards to love. Now I'm no love expert nor I claim to be, but the key
...
thing that makes the anime great is that it takes the time to properly develop each character and the overall theme as they figure out how to approach this topic properly.
It's very refreshing to see this rather than have it done poorly and show misrepresentation to the public. After all, young person falling in love with someone in such different age groups? How would you handle the reaction from your family? Friends? Society itself? Even in this day and age, it is no easy topic to approach and if done incorrectly can lead to tons of problems down the road.
Our main heroine is an independent, intelligent and capable character who's doing her best to figure out what's best for her own-self with the help of her friends and family, and this applies to the lead male character as well. On the top-side, he's handsome, loaded and great at his job. However, he's a womanizer who enjoys meeting tons of women. After meeting our main character he also does his best to navigate the treacherous road as well.
The humor in this anime is certainly top-notch and I found it amusing and chucking at times too. The art and animation are also well-done and I really enjoyed every episode and could not wait for the next one. The music is definitely that deserves the most praise, as the opening is among the best openings for this season of anime and the ending is great too!
Go check out this anime, you will not regret it! I assure you =)

This anime certainly caught my eye and after watching it as a whole well it was interesting experience for sure!
The overall theme is interesting, yes it does have a fairy theme but the focus on human desires and helping others who were suffering is interesting (things like greed, lust, sloth) and more. I do warn that it has quite a bit of erotic art so if you can make sure to watch it when no one else is. But I was really happy to see each person getting help (be warned also, it will focus on mature topics as well!)
Next, the characters themselves
...
are pretty well-developed and have their own personalities as well as journeys to go through and I will say it was great to see them triumph in the end. It does have its fair share of humor and that not everything in the world is black and white but rather grey.
The art and animation are pretty good too, what I would like to praise as well is the music which certainly fits well with the anime. The opening and ending are great, and each episode where the main fairy tries to help their respective arc characters comes with its own in-episode song based on the theme of the episode.
Overall, I would say give it a go. You won't be disappointed =)

This anime is great not just because you get to learn about Japanese culture but it shows the importance of valuing people individually and not expect them to follow other people's paths.
Our main character starts off troubled and depressed after the death of his grandfather, and goes on the path of development to find his sound. I will say that one of the key themes is that by constantly putting expectations on others unfairly and too much it causes people to feel unwanted, problems with self-efficacy and confidence. We should always love our-selves no matter what as we are special in our own way.
...
Theme aside, there is great humor to be found and I enjoyed it as well. It's great to see at least lots of great supporting characters (whether to provide motivation or great food - I want those rice balls they look good!
The music? My god, the music is epic! The 1st opening is among the best of this season and the ending is fantastic in the sense that it fits the show's overall theem, 2nd opening is pretty good too though I prefer the 1st one.
Finally, the art and animation is beautiful in itself as well and I would like to say thank you to the people who animated the anime.
Should you go watch it? Yes, do it now! Go!
P.S: I took one point off because of the ending. That ending, giving us that cliffhanger! They better give us season two FAST!

First anime review!
Normally I don't watch sports anime very often but when this first came out curiousity got the better of me and I thought I check it out.
Best. decision. ever.
From the 1st episode it simply draws you in. The overall theme of friendship, teamwork draws you in as our characters are in the world of gymnastics. The characters are fully fleshed out and each have their own personalities.
We get to enjoy the wonderful humor and I always find myself chuckling or laughing loudly at the jokes given in each episode, as well as appreciate the seriousness when things become serious.
The animation
...
of gymnastics is especially beautiful, I really really have to give credit to the hard working and talented people who helped to animate the gymnastics scenes. This ain't easy to do people!
Finally the opening and ending also fits nicely with the show and I really am glad to have been able to watch it.
Go watch it, end of discussion people! You will not regret it!
