I also watched Fate SN 2006 patiently just to compare it to UBW or try to make the experience better.

Anyway,I hope you enjoy the rest of FSN,you could also tell me what you think of it when you finish it!

I REALLY like Gilgamesh’s character design and looks but damn,he’s really annoying.He’s very cocky and always feels like he’s some kind of king or something.But I guess he’s meant to be hated?I usually don’t hate characters that are meant to be annoying lol.

The show is slower than UBW.I’m up to ep. 6 and I think things here progressed faster than in 2006.

I don’t think it’s *bad*,but it’s mostly all meh to me.There are some episodes that were enjoyable,but on a lot of them I can’t help but fall asleep.Also,the humor isn’t my cup of tea.(Which is why I tagged it as ‘Felt nothing to be honest’)

I dislike Sakura,because she mostly hangs around Shirou’s house and then getting mad at the other girls when she doesn’t make some kind of move on Shirou.She’s the childhood friend that mostly does nothing and barely does contribute to the show.

Also Ilyasviel,but you’re not on that part yet.

The anime skipped a lot apparently,which may be why a lot of things look laughable instead of being taken seriously.They skipped out most of Shirou’s inner dialogue/thoughts.

The main three are fine.Out of all of the chara. I pick Archer,he seems really useful and badass but he doesn’t get enough screentime.

I'm surprised you watched Gintama when you're a starter,that anime is not really beginner-friendly especially when it comes to heavily referenced jokes and Japanese wordplay.
