I think I still have my messaging disabled, I actually left mal for a short time, so I disabled comments and everything. I will check on it later.
Can't you just upload them in comments and such? using the IMG tags? I bet they are nice photographs^_^
Thank you for the birthday wishes. it was very uneventful.
Like you i haven't even begun the new season. I need to finish off several other shows from season's past first. i just have far less free time than i used too. I blame work, and the need to pay bills.
i hope your computer is fixed soon. Please take care of yourself.
Flash has alot of the same problems. Hes got to many people around him. I want to see a more concentrated plot too and less of this romance melodrama. Seems like right now they have alot of different storylines in play. Too many tbh.
However I think if the network and creators work together this has the potential to be alot of fun eventually with several different shows that have crossover potential and share the same universes. They could do what marvel is doing with the movies on the small screen. But they got to use actual heroes, I dont care if they are the b-list guys they are using but they need to have powers. That will make these shows interesting in the ways Gotham and Agents of shield are not. I am hopeful for the Supergirl series but given the network involved I feel it will not be given the chance to grow an audience or will repeat the mistakes I think Smallville made by not putting her in the suit and using her powers to their full potential.
^_^
I though Hawkeye was a boring character and pretty useless. I mean why is he in the Avengers anyway? Having 2 "human" characters was not necessary. I thought Black Widow held her own but Hawkeye was pointless. I would have prefered they brought in someone else, another female hero preferable (Ms Marvel, Tigre) or Doctor Strange or just nobody honestly. I wish they would do some hero movies based on the female characters in the DC/Marvel universe. God ones I should say. Number 1 for me would be Wonder Woman but I also love Ms Marvel, who I guess is now Captain Marvel, they will be making a movie about her in Phase 3 but thats still a long way off. Love to see a She-Hulk movie too. Though my favorite Marvel character has always been Rogue and the Xmen movies were terrible in relation to Rogue. She is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel universe and they turned her into a useless whiny damsel who couldnt do anything was completely de-powered and was constantly in need of being rescued. Marvel and DC for that matter should reacquire all their franchises and do the movies out of their own production studios so they have access to their entire hero rosters for teamups and can have some kind of continuity and avoid all these reboots. I also hope they dont feel like they need to kill off characters because they did in the comic or because the actor is leaving the role. They should be treated like James Bond is, the actors can be interchangeable and dont need reboots. Once they characters become established in the public eye we dont have to worry about the general public understanding all the lore and origin stories that appeals to comic nerds. :P
Well I was saying I think there are more interesting things to see. I realize some people seem to be fascinated by things like this. I went to Universal Studios when I was a kid, but that was something like a theme park. They had famous things like Jaws and the Psycho House but if you go to LA thats the kind of stuff you do. You go see things like that, because its Hollywood. I dont know what you would do in Cleveland. I dont know anything about that place. I dont even now where it is? I dont think its some sort of place foreigners would go visit specially. But what you describe is the kind of thing that if your a local you might do. Like for example they have this little theme park based on Pippi Longstockings and the works of Astrid Lindgren which was about an hour from my grandparents house. We went there a few times when I was a child but if you came to visit Sweden that is not something you should have on your list IMO.
Supernatural is going on too long. I saw the first 5 seasons of it but I have lost interest in it. It was like that with Smallville too. After about 5 or 6 seasons it was getting more and more difficult to find a reason for him to not start wearing his underwear outside his pants. Plus they were taking too much liberties with the mythos and character timelines. They stayed in Smallville too long, I mean it was called Smallville so maybe it should have ended when he got out of high school. Plus making Smallvile basically a suburb of Metropolis didnt work either. I didnt like bringing Luther in as a childhood friend but it worked in a way for a while. Once he left the show it starting going downhill. Flash and Arrow are good series I am enjoying them right now.
I liked Stargate too but once Richard Deen Anderson left the show I lost interest. Another example of a show that went on too long. But it was amazing the way they took the movie and really made all the story around it so interesting. It had a fabulous premise. The show lost its way eventually. It should have ended around season 7.
I watch Sherlock on BBC which is what the Americans used to copy to make their version, Elementary. Plus it has Benedict Cumberbach which means it wins over that American version. I dont watch a ton of American shows though unless they are comic book adaptations or on Netflix. I dont watch a lot of TV anyway outside of anime because most of the time the kids are watching TV and I just read or play one of my handheld systems.
