Hello ribosoMAL, looking at your Shakugan no Shana article, I do believe that you used my edited picture for the cover
( http://justass.deviantart.com/art/Shakugan-no-Shana-Shana-395307432 ).

I don't think you ever asked for a some sort of a permission or even credited me for it (As far as I've noticed), not that I mind anyway as I only do this for a hobby.

Anyway, nice article, and thanks for choosing my picture as the cover.

Hi ribosoMAL, thanks for your Shakugan no Shana article. It is the first article I have taken the time to read and it is very well done.

Just a few notes:
There are a few typos in the Snake of the Festival and Wilhelmina sections.
Should be "Elegies" for Margery.

There are a few other minor things, but thank you very much for writing it up.

Just wanted to note that in your ''15 great artwork in Naruto'' it is Chouji that is receiving treatment after his fight with the sound four and not Naruto. Nice article by the way.

Regarding your write up on the Dragon Ball franchise

"On the other hand, unlike its predecessors, GT has the lowest number of plot holes and inconsistencies, which might have a lot to do with its worldwide success."

Sure maybe GT had less holes then Z did, but Z was almost 300 episodes. GT on the other had more holes crammed into 60 episodes then any other chunk of the franchise.

Dear esteemed Sir or Madam,

do you plan on improving your writing quality so that the FA page does not become Buzzfeed's anime section? Thank you and have a shitty day.

That moment when you think Naruto's art is in the same stratosphere as Miura/Takehiko/Urasawa/etc.

That article about ymir was just fantastic and also hilarious at times. Ymir is one of my favorite characters in snk so its always nice when someone talk about her.

Maybe you could write a article about Annie sometimes in the future? ;)

Dear enlightened being and columnist,

I am deeply impressed by the high quality of writing that your articles contain, ranging from the deep philosophy in the Titan's designs (which, contrary to many of the comments and messages you've received, are not appealing to the more perverted segments of the fanbase) and the artistry and philosophy behind Naruto.

You are a great writer, and posts like yours inspire and revolutionize people, not unlike Theron and Gabriella on ANN.

Keep up the good work!

Dear Sir,

I am writing to congratulate you for your already rather impressive contribution to online journalism. In an epoch where much of the professional writing published online is either extreme in nature or entirely banal, I am delighted to see that an individual like yourself has risen above the tide and opted to instead produce writing of intellectual substance. Bravo, sir!

Few other writers would have the talent to write six separate articles about 'Attack on Titan'. Those of an overly cynical disposition might suspect that such a strong fixation to be the product of financial incentive rather than genuine passion, but anyone who takes the time to read through "Attack on What? 23 Hilarious and Surprising “Attack on Titan” Fan Arts" would know, this has been purely a labor of love. Indeed, it reflected my feelings perfectly, for I found it both 'Hilarious' and 'Surprising' that My Anime List was now going to be producing this kind of content. In response, I have cancelled my subscriptions to both the London Review of Books and the Wall Street Journal. In fact, I went through the latest editions of both these publications and found that neither of them included any articles about 'Attack on Titan' whatsoever. How ridiculous!

Please continue producing articles about Attack on Titan, as I'm sure the six articles you've written so far have barely begun to scratch your no doubt boundless knowledge of the franchise. Furthermore, please resist the urge to experiment with different writing formats. While many of the 'trendier' journalists out there criticise the listing format for being lazy and patronising, these people grossly underestimate the tremendous difficulty involved in reading and writing multiple paragraphs of text.

So in summation, welcome to My Anime List and please continue writing these wonderful, wonderful articles. I'm sure they will soon fit in nicely among the tentacle rape hentai entries and forum topics discussing Neo-nazism and misogyny. And as you have no doubt seen already from the many kind comments you have received, we all truly appreciate your efforts, and are very excited by this new, positive change to our favourite website.

Yours faithfully and with salutations,

AnnoKano

Beautifull articles, had some serious fun reading them

Love the SnK MMA piece. I remember losing my mind reading the Armored Titan grappling match but haven't seen many other readers appreciate that aspect of Isayama's panels, so it's nice to see someone that does!

Also never made the connection with Shadis and Jardine, that's awesome! The most recent chapter makes more sense now with Shadis never being 'special' haha

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this comment to you in hope that you will find time to read it, despite your - I would assume - busy schedule with creating MAL articles. It is a great pleasure and honor to see new, helpful, productive members on the staff, so I hope you will forgive me if I come across as overly excited.

I just wanted to express my utmost gratitude for the time and effort you are investing into the articles in the newly established "Featured Articles". Yes, I am aware there are other columnists as well, but it is your articles that have truly touched me and spoken to me. Their content is fresh and unusual it makes me grateful for being a member of the site.

I am greatly looking forward to seeing what you will come up with in the future. MAL finally seems exciting once again. I hope you will keep the standards as high as ever and, please, pay no heed to detractors who might label your articles as "click-baity". You and I know better.

Best regards

Dear fellow patrician and writer, I would like to extend my gratitude on behalf the community for your profound and poignant articles. You are evidence of the leaps and bounds that MAL is progressing nowadays. From your writing I can see why MAL has picked you to be their columnists. A very prudent decision on MAL to ask someone of your caliber to be their representative on such a monumental and revolutionary change. I've thought for a while that this was a necessary expansion. When I think of MAL I think of lost opportunities for hidden writers to expand their talents to a greater audience. Please continue to inform us in the future.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
