One could and would say that with age comes wisdom. Is it really like that in this day and age? What is wisdom really? Ability to become whoever you want or wish to be? Or maybe just the strength to push it forward without looking back or straying. I am yet to discover this ultimate truth, one thing certain though. That is through my own prowess not someone of something else's one.

That outta way, though - been ages since I wrote anything here so it would be only appropriate to rediscover a bit what's what around my personal bush. Tbh not much, still kinda stuck where I had been some two-three years ago, that and some massive lack of sheer life optimism. Anime isn't fun anymore - that's for damn sure. Really, over the course of last 24 months I could enumerate a single digit worth of titles that actually caught my attention. I dunno if that's me or has everything gone nuts recently? There're no good mecha shows, no action shows worth watching, even the ovas are laughable these days. All I can see every next season is 20-something harem-alike comedies that are basically a direct copy of what was once Love Hina or Seto no Hanayome - those at least had some substance to them.

Anyways, maybe b***tching a bit but that's the way things are these days. Even Berserk's no fun. Honestly, what were they thinking when they decided to cut source material in half and do it through bottomline CGI - the Japanese CAN'T do CGI effects and that's a fact. They should stray from it, really, for their own sake. It's the same story with the new / old Gundam series - SUNRISE, who do you focus on such crap as AGE instead of returning to Universal Century for a while - there hasn't been a fully fledged UC story in like 15 years! PLEASE!

A'ight, that's enough. Maybe and just maybe I'll write some more in due time. For now I may just focus on some other fruitful activities for a change.
