Yo! Thanks for the FR too! Glad you liked the roast. I read through it again, and kind of feel bad, so I'll reiterate one more time, there's nothing wrong with your taste.
Anyway, now that we're friends, feel free to send me a message any time to talk about anything. It can be a comment or a PM.
Sure thing. It might be outdated since you've probably added more to your list since I wrote it. As an obvious disclaimer, it's just a roast. Here you go:
Someone made a thread telling people to roast their anime and manga lists. The thread got deleted, but I managed to save my response. Not sure what to do with it. It's just something I wrote for fun since it was asked for, but I guess I'll save it for a while.
Your list is beyond generic. It's hard to put into words just how perfectly your taste conforms with the main stream. Your favorite anime consist of nothing but the absolute most popular shounen. I could replace your list with 1000 others and not tell the difference. It says nothing about you or your taste other than that it is generic. If we're being generous, you've seen only 6 anime from before 2010 that aren't some of the most popular anime ever. Of those 6 shows, you watched 5 of them because you were horny. The only exception is Desert Punk. Every show from after 2010 was a popular show when they aired (but are now considered forgetable seasonals), and/or and ecchi/harem. The only insight your list gives me is that you follow what's popular and what makes you horny (I didn't even comment on those Rx rated entries). A single exception like Desert Punk isn't enough to make me think differently, and even then, it's hard to say if it even is an exception, since it is an ecchi.
Your manga list isn't much better. In fact I'd say it's worse. Accounting for everything that isn't in your plan-to-read list, nothing isn't a current popular manga. The furtherst any manga on your list attempts to stray from the main stream is Uzaki-chan. Uzaki-chan. That is still an extremely popular manga. If fact, none of your manga are less than the 400 most popular. Unlike your anime list which had some horny-watches or shows that were popular for their time but the popularity died down, every single one of your manga is a mainstream, current, popular manga. I gleam even less from it than I did your anime list.
I normally wouldn't give your list a second thought the moment I saw your favorites. I would have immediately closed the tab, as it woud be clear there was nothing to find. There isn't a single interesting thing about it, and your favorites alone are indicitive of that. It is the MAL equivelent of eating a slice of whole-wheat bread and drinking tap water for a meal. Looking through it, I found nothing that I didn't already know of and that didn't make sense to be there.
