hello lol
i primarily use
anilist but i figured i'd make an account here anyway
uhhhhhhh in terms of my taste i guess i'm drawn to philosophical, psychological, coming of age and iyashikei stuff. my favourite anime section could probably tell you more than i can
i do love my favourite anime but i've always been more of a video game guy, so here are some recommendations if you're looking for something to play:
- Persona 3 - 5: Very long JRPGs, but with a captivating gameplay loop that mixes dungeon crawling with social simulation. Good stories too that may change the way you look at things. (I'll get to the earlier persona games someday.)
- Ghost Trick: DS adventure game where you navigate Rube Goldberg scenarios as a ghost to save lives. Also has a great story, go into it with no more knowledge than that.
- Dustforce: A very solid 2D platformer with an emphasis on speedrunning and mastery. Feels extremely satisfying when you get the hang of the movement and its intricacies. Also has a nice, chill soundtrack that helps stave off any frustration you might feel attempting to attain high ranks.
- Zero Escape: A visual novel series with great stories mixed with escape room puzzle gameplay. Go into it knowing no more than that. You can start with Nonary Games, which contains updated versions of the first two games, or 999 on the DS.
- Rain World: Extremely punishing and borderline unfair gameplay that definitely won't click with everyone, but definitely worth the shot for if it does click. This game is art, give it a look.
- Almost anything by Platinum Games. One of the best action game devs in the biz. In particular, I'd recommend Bayonetta, Wonderful 101 and Vanquish.
- Resident Evil 4: There's a reason this game is held in such high regard. Absolutely worth playing.
ok, that's all
bye lol

its been quite a while since i watched it but as i remember there is a few episodes that are fully dedicated to side characters what people disliked. overall the series is fine. it just lacks that atmosphere it should of had if you get what i mean. thanks for the book infomation )b
they dont reprint the books once they sold out so people price them up an insane amount. the rest of cheap but usually light novels have that /one/ book that literally nobody can get their hands on. i didn't even know it had a dub lol. im a sub only watcher so i can't give advice on whats better
biggests complaint i saw about kino 2017 is that it tends to focus on characters more than kino's adventure. and yes i don't like the art style either. seems like they tried to make it too much. i think i'll watch it after i've read the books it adapts
'we won't be running out of stuff any time soon' both a blessing and curse aha. i saw you added baccano to your plan to watch. literally just rewatched that. amazing show. that's one of the series i'm going to read. i saw people complaining because they stopped reprinting the official books so they can cost like £600 now. glad i'm fine with digital
made in abyss is another one you might like
